| 1. Notwithstanding having two children, the Supreme Court of India rendered a historic decision confirming the entitlement to maternity benefits for a Tamil Nadu teacher. दोन मुले असूनही, भारताच्या सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने तामिळनाडूच्या एका शिक्षिकेला मातृत्व लाभ मिळण्याच्या हक्काची पुष्टी करणारा ऐतिहासिक निर्णय दिला. या निकालाने मद्रास उच्च न्यायालयाच्या पूर्वीच्या आदेशाला उलट केले. भारतीय कायदा आणि आंतरराष्ट्रीय मानवी हक्कांच्या संदर्भात पुनरुत्पादक हक्कांचे बदलते स्वरूप हे स्पष्ट करते. |
| 2. The Indian Rupee is being internationalised under direction from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The RBI just asked the Indian government permission to let home banks lend rupees to foreign debtors. This program seeks to improve the value of the rupee in international commerce, especially with surrounding nations.

| 3. The Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control and Discipline) Act 2023 seeks to improve Indian Armed Forces operational effectiveness. Approved during the Monsoon Session of Parliament in 2023, the Act got Presidential approval on August 15, 2023. It took effect formally on May 10, 2024. Subsidiary rules, which will take effect from May 27, 2025, have been just announced.
आंतर-सेवा संघटना (कमांड, नियंत्रण आणि शिस्त) कायदा २०२३ हा भारतीय सशस्त्र दलांच्या ऑपरेशनल परिणामकारकतेत सुधारणा करण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो. २०२३ मध्ये संसदेच्या पावसाळी अधिवेशनात मंजूर झालेल्या या कायद्याला १५ ऑगस्ट २०२३ रोजी राष्ट्रपतींची मान्यता मिळाली. तो १० मे २०२४ रोजी औपचारिकपणे लागू झाला. २७ मे २०२५ पासून लागू होणारे उपकंपनी नियम नुकतेच जाहीर करण्यात आले आहेत. |

| 5. With relation to climate change, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) has issued an urgent warning. According to a recent analysis, between 2025 and 2029 global temperatures have a 70% chance of surpassing the 1.5°C threshold over pre-industrial levels. Given many nations still to provide their climate action plans over the next ten years, this concerning prediction is all the more relevant. The need of efficient climate policies has never been stronger.

| 6. Recently named as the first state in India to reach complete functional literacy is Mizoram. This news comes 34 years after Kerala was declared to be a completely literate state. Declaring complete literacy now has many meanings and requirements that reflect changing educational systems and social demands.

| 7. The recent link of Aizawl, the capital of Mizoram, to the national railway system symbolizes progress in the transportation system of North-East India. Important contribution to the connectivity of the area is the 51.38 km Bairabi-Sairang line. | 8. Approved by the Indian government, the Modified Interest Subvention Scheme (MISS) will continue for fiscal years 2025–26. Using Kisan financing Cards (KCC), this plan seeks to give farmers reasonably priced temporary financing. The choice of the Union Cabinet responds to the necessity of ongoing financial assistance for the agriculture industry. The project would cost the exchequer ₹15,640 crore.
भारत सरकारने मंजूर केलेली, सुधारित व्याज अनुदान योजना (MISS) २०२५-२६ या आर्थिक वर्षांसाठी सुरू राहील. किसान वित्तपुरवठा कार्ड (KCC) वापरून, ही योजना शेतकऱ्यांना वाजवी किमतीत तात्पुरते वित्तपुरवठा देण्याचा प्रयत्न करते. केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाचा हा निर्णय कृषी उद्योगासाठी सतत आर्थिक मदतीची आवश्यकता लक्षात घेऊन आहे. या प्रकल्पासाठी सरकारी तिजोरीवर १५,६४० कोटी रुपये खर्च येईल. |
