1. India and Canada have concluded an agreement on a Joint Action Plan outlining activities to further strengthen counter-terrorism collaboration, including through joint capacity building, information and technology sharing.

7. The South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) has become the first company in the country to have crossed coal production figure of 150 million tonnes in a financial year.

8. India’s second largest IT services firm Infosys said it will acquire 75 per cent stake in ABN AMRO Bank’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Stater, for 127.5 million euros (about Rs 989 crore).

Google has constituted an eight-member Advanced Technology External Advisory Council that will examine the ethical challenges related to artificial intelligence (AI) and other emerging technologies. The aim of the council is to provide recommendations for Google and other companies and researchers regarding the AI.
