2. Senior bureaucrat Saurabh Garg has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

5. India and Bangladesh signed 5 Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) in the fields of disaster management, trade, NCC, ICT and sports facility establishment.

6. The Maharashtra government said singer Asha Bhosle has been selected for the Maharashtra Bhushan award, the State government’s highest honour.

10. Former Reserve Bank of India Deputy Governor Kamalesh Chandra Chakrabarty passed away in Mumbai. He was 68.
माजी रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ डेप्युटी गव्हर्नर कमलेश चंद्र चक्रवर्ती यांचे मुंबईत निधन झाले. ते 68 वर्षांचे होते.
