1. The Asian Development Bank, or ADB, has committed to providing India with a substantial sum of money (2.6 billion USD) in 2023 for a variety of development initiatives. Under the sovereign portfolio, USD 23.53 million in professional assistance and USD 4.1 million in grants were also provided in fulfilment of this commitment. Furthermore, the bank has provided financial support exceeding USD 1 billion to private sector initiatives in the preceding year.

4. A significant milestone in India’s defence strategy occurred off the coast of Odisha with the successful trial of the RudraM-II missile from a Su-30 fighter aircraft. This achievement demonstrates India’s steadily improving capability to independently manufacture sophisticated weapon systems.

5. More than 400 individuals attended the Kavango-Zambezi Trans-Frontier Conservation Area (KAZA TFCA) Summit in Livingstone, Zambia, in May 2023. Five days, from May 27 to May 31, delegates from Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, and Zimbabwe participated in this conference. The KAZA conservation area comprises the member nations listed below.
