1. The Deep Ocean Mission (DOM) to be led by the Union Earth Sciences Ministry will commence from 31 October 2019.
केंद्रीय पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालयाच्या नेतृत्वात असणारी दीप महासागर मिशन (DOM) 31 ऑक्टोबर 2019 पासून सुरू होणार आहे.

2. Scientists at IIT Hyderabad have developed low-cost, environment-friendly solar cells by employing an off-the-shelf dye used to make kumkum or vermilion in India.
आयआयटी हैदराबादच्या वैज्ञानिकांनी भारतात कुमकुम किंवा सिंदूर तयार करण्यासाठी वापरल्या जाणार्‍या ऑफ-द-शेल्फ डाई देऊन कमी किमतीच्या, पर्यावरणास अनुकूल सौर पेशी विकसित केल्या आहेत.

3. Within three years of starting its commercial operations, Reliance Jio has become the country’s largest telecom operator. Jio has a subscriber base of 331.3 million, surpassing Vodafone Idea which reported a decline in its user base to 320 million by June 2019.
आपली व्यावसायिक कामे सुरू केल्याच्या तीन वर्षांत रिलायन्स जिओ देशातील सर्वात मोठे टेलिकॉम ऑपरेटर बनली आहे. जियोची ग्राहक संख्या 331.3 दशलक्ष आहे जो व्होडाफोन आयडियाला मागे टाकत आहे. जून 2019 पर्यंत व्होडाफोन आयडियाची ग्राहक संख्या घटून 320 दशलक्ष झाली आहे.

5. DD News(Doordarshan)news channel of India awarded “Champions of Empathy Award” The award is given for spreading awareness about hepatitis. Mayank Agrawal, Director General of DD News received the Award from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.
डीडी न्यूज (दूरदर्शन) इंडियाच्या न्यूज चॅनेलला “चॅम्पियन्स ऑफ एम्पैथी अवॉर्ड” देण्यात आला हा पुरस्कार हेपेटायटीसविषयी जागरूकता वाढवण्यासाठी देण्यात आला आहे. डीडी न्यूजचे महासंचालक मयंक अग्रवाल यांना लोकसभा अध्यक्ष ओम बिर्ला यांच्या हस्ते हा पुरस्कार स्वीकारला.

6. Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras have developed a Smart agricopter. The innovation aims to eliminate manual spraying of pesticides in agricultural fields.

7. The Rajya Sabha has passed the Banning of Unregulated Deposit Schemes Bill, 2019. The Bill aims to introduce a mechanism that will curb the ponzi schemes.

8. The Centre is to organize the 22nd National Conference on e-Governance 2019 on 8-9th August, 2019 at Shillong, Meghalaya. For the first time ever, the event is being organized in North-Eastern region of the country.

9. Indian Federation of Sports Gaming (IFSG), country’s self-regulatory industry body for the online fantasy sports gaming sector announced the appointment of Justice Arjan Kumar Sikri as its ombudsman and ethics officer.

10. Tamil Nadu girl Jerlin Anika has won the gold medal in the World Deaf Youth Badminton Championships held in Taipei.
