FAQs: 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme – July 2026 Batch1. How many posts are available? There are 90 seats open this time under the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES). It’s a decent number, so definitely worth applying if you’re eligible. 2. I just passed 12th with PCM. Am I eligible?Yes, but with some conditions. You need at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths combined. Also, it’s important that you appeared in JEE (Main) 2025 — that’s now compulsory. 3. What’s the age limit? You should have been born between 2nd January 2007 and 1st January 2010. So if your birthday falls outside that range, unfortunately, you won’t be eligible. 4. Is there any application fee?Nope. It’s completely free to apply, which is great! 5. What exactly is this course about? It’s called the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES) and it’s the 55th course, starting in July 2026. Selected candidates get a chance to train and eventually serve in the Indian Army (technical stream). 6. Where will I be posted if selected?Postings and training can happen anywhere in India — it’s a central government opportunity, after all. 7. Is JEE really necessary?Yes, even if you have high PCM marks, you must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2025. It’s part of the selection process now. 8. What’s the deadline to apply? You need to apply before 12 June 2025 at 12 PM. It’s best to avoid last-minute submissions. 9. Has the exam date been shared yet?Not yet. The official exam date will be announced later. Just keep checking the official site regularly. 10. How is eligibility percentage calculated?Only Class 12 (HSC) marks are counted — not Class 11 or earlier. It depends on your PCM score as shown on your 12th board result. 11. Is there an official advertisement number? No, the ad number hasn’t been mentioned yet. |
