| 1. India has made a big step toward getting better at research and development with the start of the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) scheme. The goal of this plan, which was made public on November 25, 2024, is to make it easier for everyone to get to academic materials at all of the country’s schools and study centers. India wants to be the best place in the world to learn and be creative, and this project helps them reach that goal.

| 2. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has implemented guidelines for lenders with respect to their participation in the Government Debt Relief Scheme (DRS). The objective of this initiative is to provide support to debtors, notably farmers, during periods of crisis, such as natural disasters. Various DRS have been announced by state administrations to provide relief, particularly in the lead-up to elections. A model operating procedure (MOP) is incorporated into the RBI’s guidelines to guarantee the effective implementation and adherence to financial discipline.

| 4. India has done more to cut down on its greenhouse gas emissions. Compared to 2019, pollution went down by 7.93% in 2020. India wants to separate economic growth from carbon pollution, and this drop is part of that plan. With these goals in mind, the country wants to cut the amount of pollution its GDP causes by another 45% by 2030. In addition, India wants to get 50% of its electricity from sources other than fossil fuels.

| 1. A new project has been started by scientists to find high-energy neutrinos, which are sometimes called “ghost particles,” below the Mediterranean Sea. The Cubic Kilometre Neutrino Telescope (KM3NeT), which is part of this project, has two lenses. One device looks at neutrinos that come from space, and the other looks at neutrinos that come from the atmosphere. This new method is similar to the IceCube Neutrino Observatory, which is located under the ice in Antarctica.
