Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will present the interim budget for 2019-20 fiscal on February 1, as decided in the meeting by the Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs. This will be the sixth consecutive budget to be presented by Jaitley.

8. The Union Ministry of Labour and Employment has notified the draft National Policy on Domestic Workers. The policy aims to provide social security benefits to an estimated 39 lakh people employed as domestic workers by private household, of which 26 lakhs are female domestic workers.
