1. The 10th Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) India Region Conference will be held in New Delhi at the Indian Parliament. The Commonwealth countries’ dedication to enhancing democratic institutions and legislative practices is illustrated by this two-day event.

10वी कॉमनवेल्थ पार्लमेंटरी असोसिएशन (CPA) इंडिया रिजन कॉन्फरन्स नवी दिल्ली येथे भारतीय संसदेत होणार आहे. लोकशाही संस्था आणि विधिमंडळ पद्धती वाढवण्यासाठी राष्ट्रकुल देशांचे समर्पण या दोन दिवसीय कार्यक्रमातून स्पष्ट होते.
2. In conjunction with the Digital Agriculture Mission, the Union Agriculture Ministry recently conducted a National Conference that concentrated on the implementation of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI). The objective of this initiative is to enhance the efficiency of agriculture and enhance the delivery of services to producers through the use of digital technology.

Boeing is scheduled to deliver its initial three AH-64E Apache attack helicopters to the Indian Army in December 2024, following a delay of over six months, which was attributed to supply chain issues. Delivery of the helicopters was initially anticipated to occur between May and July; however, the schedule was altered following negotiations between India and the United States to prioritise delivery.

An X-ray protection barrier that is portable has been devised by researchers at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) and the Government Engineering College, Barton Hill (GECBH). This device is designed to improve the safety of X-ray-based histopathology, a method that is employed to analyse tissue samples in order to diagnose diseases.

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has been awarded the 2024 UN Inter-Agency Task Force Award for its significant contributions to the reduction of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and the enhancement of mental health. This award acknowledges the successful actions of ICMR in multiple sectors over the years and the way in which its efforts support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

IWWAGE (अर्थव्यवस्थेत महिला आणि मुलींना प्रगती करण्यासाठी काय कार्य करते) सोबत काम करताना, या कार्यक्रमाने ग्रामीण विकास प्रकल्पांमध्ये, विशेषतः दीनदयाल अंत्योदय योजना – राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण उपजीविका अभियान (DAY-NRLM) अंतर्गत लैंगिक समस्या कशा हाताळल्या जातात हे वाढविण्याचा प्रयत्न केला.

1. On December 4, 2024, the National Achievement Survey (NAS) 2024 will take place with the objective of assessing the academic performance of school pupils in India. An increase from the 3.7 million students assessed in the most recent survey in 2021, approximately five million students from Classes 3, 6, and 9 will be evaluated in this year’s survey.

6. India’s space exploration plans were recently authorised by the Union Cabinet, which also approved several significant measures. Among these are the construction of the Bharatiya Antariksh Station (BAS), the launch of the Chandrayaan-4 mission to collect lunar samples, and the preparation for India’s inaugural mission to Venus. Prime Minister Narendra Modi defined this as a significant milestone, with the objective of establishing a self-sustaining space station by 2035 and conducting a manned moon mission by 2040.
