1. Former cabinet Secretary PK Sinha has been appointed as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in Prime Minister’s Office (PMO). He will replace Nripendra Misra who is the Principal Secretary of PMO.
माजी कॅबिनेट सचिव पीके सिन्हा यांची पंतप्रधान कार्यालयात (पीएमओ) विशेष कर्तव्य अधिकारी (OSD) म्हणून नियुक्ती करण्यात आली आहे. ते नृपेंद्र मिश्रा यांची जागा घेतील, जे पीएमओचे प्रधान सचिव आहेत.

2. Union Ministers Prakash Javadekar and Piyush Goyal the government approved the establishment of 75 new medical colleges in the country. The main addition would lead to the creation of 15,700 more MBBS seats in India.
केंद्रीय मंत्री प्रकाश जावडेकर आणि पीयूष गोयल यांनी देशात 75 75 नवीन वैद्यकीय महाविद्यालये स्थापण्यास मान्यता दिली. मुख्य भर म्हणून भारतात आणखी 15,700 MBBS जागा तयार होतील.

3. The West Bengal State Assembly passed West Bengal (Prevention of Lynching) Bill, 2019. The Bill aims to prevent and punish mob assaults and lynching.
पश्चिम बंगाल राज्य विधानसभेने पश्चिम बंगाल (लिंचिंग प्रतिबंधक) विधेयक, 2019 मंजूर केले. जमावावरील हल्ले आणि निर्दोषपणा रोखण्यासाठी आणि त्यांना शिक्षा देणे या विधेयकाचे उद्दीष्ट आहे.

4. ICRA Ltd ousted its Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer Naresh Takkar. ICRA terminated the employment of Takkar with immediate effect over allegations of misconduct at the credit rating agency under Takkar.

5. The Union Cabinet relaxed FDI rule for foreign single-brand retailers and also permitted foreign investment in contract manufacturing and coal mining. Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal 100 percent foreign direct investment (FDI) under automatic route in coal mining and associated infrastructure approved.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने परदेशी सिंगल-ब्रँड किरकोळ विक्रेत्यांसाठी एफडीआय नियमात शिथिलता आणली तसेच कंत्राटी उत्पादन आणि कोळसा खाण क्षेत्रात परकीय गुंतवणूकीला परवानगी दिली. वाणिज्य व उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल यांनी कोळसा खाण आणि संबंधित पायाभूत सुविधांमधील स्वयंचलित मार्गाने 100 टक्के थेट परकीय गुंतवणूक (FDI) मंजूर केली.

6. The Central government has set a target of setting up 12,500 Ayush centres across India. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Yoga Award Ceremony held in New Delhi. He also said that the Centre will open 1.5 lakh health, wellness centres.
केंद्र सरकारने संपूर्ण भारतभर 12,500 आयुष केंद्रे सुरू करण्याचे लक्ष्य ठेवले आहे. नवी दिल्ली येथे आयोजित योग पुरस्कार सोहळ्यात पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी ही घोषणा केली. ते म्हणाले की, केंद्रातर्फे दीड लाख आरोग्य, कल्याण केंद्रे सुरू केली जातील.

7. The government announced that the four major bank mergers. The merger of 10 public sector banks to be merged into four was announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
सरकारने घोषित केले की चार प्रमुख बँक विलीनीकरण केले जाईल. सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील 10 बँकांचे विलीनीकरण चार करण्यात येणार असल्याचे अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण यांनी जाहीर केले.

8. Bihar state government has banned 12 brands of pan masala containing magnesium carbonate for a period of one year. In the notice issued, it said that the manufacture, storage, distribution, transportation or sale of pan masala containing magnesium carbonate has been banned in Bihar.
बिहार राज्य सरकारने मॅनॅशियम कार्बोनेट असलेल्या 12 ब्रँड पॅन मसाल्यावर एका वर्षासाठी बंदी घातली आहे. जारी केलेल्या नोटिसमध्ये असे म्हटले आहे की बिहारमध्ये मॅग्नेशियम कार्बोनेट असलेल्या पॅन मसाल्याच्या निर्मिती, साठवण, वितरण, वाहतूक किंवा विक्रीवर बंदी घालण्यात आली आहे.

9. Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) has announced that all airports in the country will be equipped with full-body scanners in the next two years. BCAS has made it mandate to equip all airports with body scanners. The introduction of such scanning is to improve the security in all the airport.
ब्युरो ऑफ सिव्हील एव्हिएशन सिक्युरिटी (BCAS) यांनी जाहीर केले आहे की येत्या दोन वर्षांत देशातील सर्व विमानतळ फुल-बॉडी स्कॅनरद्वारे सुसज्ज असतील. बीसीएएसने सर्व विमानतळांना बॉडी स्कॅनरद्वारे सुसज्ज करण्याचे आदेश दिले आहेत. अशा स्कॅनिंगचा परिचय सर्व विमानतळावरील सुरक्षा सुधारण्यासाठी आहे.

10. InterGlobe Aviation Ltd operates the country’s largest airline IndiGo appointed GE-Healthcare official Aditya Pande as its chief financial officer.
इंटरग्लोब एव्हिएशन लिमिटेड देशातील सर्वात मोठी विमान कंपनी इंडिगोने GE-हेल्थकेअरचे अधिकारी आदित्य पांडे यांची मुख्य आर्थिक अधिकारी म्हणून नियुक्ती केली आहे.
