1. DeepMind Technologies, an Alphabet-owned AI research company, has developed an artificial intelligence tool called “AlphaFold”.

4. The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) recently released data on Unified Payments Interface (UPI). According to this, UPI crossed more than 6 billion transactions in July 2022.

6. On July 28, 2022, the US House of Representatives passed the CHIPS and Science Bill. CHIPS bill stands for “Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors”.
