1. A book titled, ‘Mann Ki Baat – A Social Revolution on Radio’ was released by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in New Delhi.

2. Air Marshal Raghunath Nambiar takes over as Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of Western Air Command.

4. Swine Flu in Gujarat has become an epidemic as almost 100 new cases are reported from across the state per day. So far, 3000 cases and 99 deaths in two months has been reported.
गुजरातमधील स्वाइन फ्लू महामारी ठरली आहे कारण दररोज राज्यात सुमारे 100 नवीन खटले आढळतात. आतापर्यंत दोन महिन्यांत 3000 प्रकरणे आणि 99 मृत्यू झाल्याची नोंद करण्यात आली आहे.

5. The Union Cabinet headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given ex-post facto approval for the creation of the Special Purpose Vehicle and associated activities for the disinvestment of Air India and its subsidiaries/JV.

6. Punjab National Bank secured top spot among all public sector banks in the implementation of ‘Reforms agenda’. PNB topped the list with a score of 78.4 out of 100 in the EASE-index which is followed by BoB, SBI, and Oriental Bank of Commerce.

7.National Boxing champion Deepak Singh is the only Indian boxer who won gold medal at Makran Cup in Boxing held at Chabahar, Iran.
बॉक्सिंगमध्ये मकरन कपमध्ये दीपक सिंगला सुवर्णपदक मिळाले, नॅशनल बॉक्सिंग चॅम्पियन दीपक सिंग हे एकमेव भारतीय मुष्टियुद्ध आहेत, त्यांनी ईरानच्या चाबहर येथे बॉक्सिंगमध्ये मकरन कप मध्ये  सुवर्ण पदक जिंकले.
