1. The Union Minister of Ports, Shipping and Waterways recently reviewed the progress of the National Maritime Heritage Complex (NMHC) project in Lothal, Gujarat. The project aims to establish a comprehensive complex showcasing India’s maritime heritage and promoting tourism.
केंद्रीय बंदरे, जहाजबांधणी आणि जलमार्ग मंत्री यांनी अलीकडेच गुजरातमधील लोथल येथील नॅशनल मेरीटाइम हेरिटेज कॉम्प्लेक्स (NMHC) प्रकल्पाच्या प्रगतीचा आढावा घेतला. भारताचा सागरी वारसा दाखवणारे आणि पर्यटनाला चालना देणारे सर्वसमावेशक कॉम्प्लेक्स स्थापन करणे हे या प्रकल्पाचे उद्दिष्ट आहे.

2. India’s Prime Minister recently announced that India will join the Artemis Accords during his visit to the United States. The Artemis Accords are an international agreement led by the United States that aims to facilitate cooperation in space exploration, including missions to the moon and beyond.
भारताच्या पंतप्रधानांनी अलीकडेच त्यांच्या युनायटेड स्टेट्स भेटीदरम्यान आर्टेमिस करारात भारत सामील होणार असल्याची घोषणा केली. आर्टेमिस ॲकॉर्ड्स हा युनायटेड स्टेट्सच्या नेतृत्वाखालील एक आंतरराष्ट्रीय करार आहे ज्याचा उद्देश चंद्रावर आणि त्यापुढील मोहिमांसह अवकाश संशोधनामध्ये सहकार्य सुलभ करणे आहे.

3. India has been ranked 67th globally on the World Economic Forum’s Energy Transition Index (ETI). The index evaluates countries based on their performance and readiness in transitioning to a sustainable and low-carbon energy system.
वर्ल्ड इकॉनॉमिक फोरमच्या एनर्जी ट्रान्झिशन इंडेक्स (ETI) वर भारत जागतिक स्तरावर 67 व्या क्रमांकावर आहे. हा निर्देशांक देशांच्या कामगिरीवर आणि शाश्वत आणि कमी-कार्बन ऊर्जा प्रणालीमध्ये संक्रमण करण्याच्या तयारीच्या आधारे मूल्यांकन करतो.

4. The International Seabed Authority (ISA) is considering allowing deep-sea mining in the international seabed, including the extraction of minerals required for green energy technologies. This development has raised discussions and debates regarding the potential environmental impacts and sustainable practices in deep-sea mining activities.

5. The State Bank of India (SBI) and its CSR arm, SBI Foundation, have committed to providing a grant of ₹22.5 crore to the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IIT-B). This contribution aims to support various initiatives and projects undertaken by IIT-B to enhance education, research, and infrastructure development.
स्टेट बँक ऑफ इंडिया (SBI) आणि तिची CSR शाखा, SBI फाउंडेशन, भारतीय तंत्रज्ञान संस्था, बॉम्बे (IIT-B) ला ₹ 22.5 कोटी अनुदान देण्यास वचनबद्ध आहे. या योगदानाचा उद्देश शिक्षण, संशोधन आणि पायाभूत सुविधांच्या विकासासाठी IIT-B द्वारे हाती घेतलेल्या विविध उपक्रमांना आणि प्रकल्पांना समर्थन देणे आहे.

6. Indian Coast Guard and Indian Navy signed an MoU with Indian Port Rail & Ropeway Corporation Ltd for the planning, development, construction, and commissioning of a gallery on the theme “Evolution of Indian Navy & Indian Coast Guard”.
भारतीय तटरक्षक दल आणि भारतीय नौदलाने “भारतीय नौदल आणि भारतीय तटरक्षक दलाची उत्क्रांती” या थीमवर गॅलरीचे नियोजन, विकास, बांधकाम आणि कार्यान्वित करण्यासाठी इंडियन पोर्ट रेल अँड रोपवे कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड सोबत सामंजस्य करार केला.

7. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has approved the release of Rs 6,194.40 crore to 19 states under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF). This includes a central share of Rs 1,209.60 crore allocated to four states (Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Telangana, and Uttar Pradesh) for the financial year 2022-23. The funds are aimed at supporting the states in their disaster management efforts and providing timely assistance during natural calamities and emergencies.
केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शहा यांनी स्टेट डिझास्टर रिस्पॉन्स फंड (SDRF) अंतर्गत 19 राज्यांना 6,194.40 कोटी रुपये देण्यास मान्यता दिली आहे. यामध्ये 2022-23 या आर्थिक वर्षासाठी चार राज्यांना (छत्तीसगड, मेघालय, तेलंगणा आणि उत्तर प्रदेश) वाटप केलेल्या 1,209.60 कोटी रुपयांच्या केंद्रीय वाटा समाविष्ट आहेत. राज्यांना त्यांच्या आपत्ती व्यवस्थापनाच्या प्रयत्नांमध्ये मदत करणे आणि नैसर्गिक आपत्ती आणि आपत्कालीन परिस्थितीत वेळेवर मदत करणे हे या निधीचे उद्दिष्ट आहे.
