1. First Global Conference on Air Pollution and Health held in Geneva. The theme of the conference was: “Improving Air Quality, Combating Climate Change- Saving Lives”.
जिनेव्हा वायु प्रदूषण आणि आरोग्यावर प्रथम जागतिक परिषद पार पडली. परिषदेची थीम होती: “वायु गुणवत्ता सुधारणे, हवामान बदलाचा सामना करणे “.

2. For the first time ever, the Indian Navy is looking at recruiting women in the rank of sailors. The matter was discussed at the three-day Naval Commanders Conference that concluded on 2nd November 2018.
पहिल्यांदाच नाविकांच्या पदांकरिता महिलांची भरती करण्याची भारतीय नौसेनाची इच्छा आहे. 2 नोव्हेंबर 2018 रोजी संपलेल्या तीन दिवसीय नेव्हल कमांडर्स कॉन्फरन्समध्ये या विषयावर चर्चा करण्यात आली.

3. The board of Tata Chemicals Ltd. has approved a capital expenditure of Rs.2,400 crore which would be deployed towards debottlenecking of Mithapur facility. The investment would enhance the company’s soda ash capacity by about 1,50,000 MT, salt production by 4,00,000 MT and upgrade turbines for higher efficiency.
टाटा केमिकल्स लिमिटेडच्या मंडळाने 2,400 कोटी रुपयांचे भांडवल खर्चास मंजूरी दिली आहे जी मिठापूर सुविधेच्या डीबॉटलेनेकिंगसाठी तैनात करण्यात येईल. गुंतवणूकीत कंपनीची सोडा राख क्षमता 1,50,000 मेट्रिक टन, लवण उत्पादन 4,00,000 दशलक्ष टन आणि उच्च कार्यक्षमतेसाठी टर्बाइन अपग्रेड करेल.

4. Railway tickets can be booked online as the Ministry has introduced Unreserved Mobile Ticketing with a view to promoting three C’s- Cashless transactions (Digital payment), Contactless ticketing (no need to physically visit the point of sale) and Customer convenience and experience.
कॅशलेस ट्रान्झॅक्शन्स (डिजिटल पेमेंट), कॉन्टॅक्टलेस तिकीट (विक्रीच्या ठिकाणी शारीरिकदृष्ट्या भेटण्याची आवश्यकता नाही) आणि ग्राहक सुविधा आणि अनुभवाचा प्रचार करण्याच्या दृष्टीकोनातून रेल्वे मंत्रालयाने अनारक्षित मोबाइल तिकिटाची सुरूवात केली आहे.

5. The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) formed a new industry expert committee to develop and promote an augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) ecosystem in India.
इंटरनेट आणि मोबाइल असोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया (आयएएमएआय) ने भारतातील वाढीव वास्तविकता / आभासी सत्यता (एआर / व्हीआर) पारिस्थितिक तंत्र विकसित आणि प्रसारित करण्यासाठी नवीन उद्योग तज्ञ समितीची स्थापना केली आहे.
