1. The World Bank has authorized a USD 250 million project in India for long-term dam safety software and improving the safety and performance of existing dams across quite a number of states of India.
जागतिक बँकेने भारतात दीर्घकालीन धरण सुरक्षा सॉफ्टवेअर आणि भारतातील बर्‍याच राज्यांमधील विद्यमान धरणांची सुरक्षा आणि कार्यप्रदर्शन सुधारण्यासाठी 250 दशलक्ष डॉलर्सचा प्रकल्प भारतात अधिकृत केला आहे.

2. Rajya Sabha passed Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (Amendment) Bill, 2021 on August 4, 2021.
राज्यसभेने 4 ऑगस्ट 2021 रोजी भारतीय विमानतळ आर्थिक नियामक प्राधिकरण (सुधारणा) विधेयक, 2021 मंजूर केले.

3. India’s composite Global Hunger Index score has been improved from 38.9 to 27.2 in the year 2020. India was ranked at 94th place among 107 countries in Global Hunger Index.
2020 मध्ये भारताचा संयुक्त ग्लोबल हंगर इंडेक्स स्कोअर 38.9 वरून 27.2 पर्यंत सुधारला गेला आहे. ग्लोबल हंगर इंडेक्समध्ये 107 देशांमध्ये भारत 94 व्या स्थानावर आहे.

4. Mumbai and Bangalore are out of the global top-100 listing and are presently rating at 106 and 110, respectively, in today’s QS Best Student Cities Ranking edition.

5. Government of India, Central Water Commission, government representatives of 10 participating states and World Bank signed a $250 million project on August 4, 2021 for long-term dam safety program.
भारत सरकार, केंद्रीय जल आयोग, 10 सहभागी राज्यांचे सरकारी प्रतिनिधी आणि जागतिक बँकेने दीर्घकालीन धरण सुरक्षा कार्यक्रमासाठी 4 ऑगस्ट 2021 रोजी $ 250 दशलक्षच्या प्रकल्पावर स्वाक्षरी केली.

6. An external evaluation of the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP) was conducted in 2020 on the advice of NITI Aayog, which found that the programme has done a commendable job and performed very well.

8. United Nations Security Council (UNSC) has declared that it is against the restoration of Islamic emirate in Afghanistan.
संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषदेने (UNSC) घोषित केले आहे की ते अफगाणिस्तानात इस्लामिक अमीरातच्या जीर्णोद्धाराच्या विरोधात आहे.

9. India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant, conducted its maiden sea trails on August 4, 2021 encouraging making of military equipment within India.
