1. The Goa Maritime Conclave (GMC) 2019 was held at Goa from 3 October to 4 October 2019. The conclave was inaugurated by the National Security Advisor, Shri Ajit Kumar Doval.

3. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has decided to impose a ban on single-use plastic. The announcement was made by RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das on 5 Octob

4. Digital infrastructure provider, Tata Communications has named Amur S Lakshminarayanan as Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer designate of the company.

5. Shri Muktesh Kumar Pardeshi, presently High Commissioner of India to New Zealand, has been appointed as the next High Commissioner of India to Niue, with residence in Wellington.

6. The six-member Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Reserve Bank of India slashed the short-term lending rate, the repo rate, by 25 basis points in its fourth bi-monthly policy review.

7. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) said that the online money transfer through National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) will be available 24×7 from now onwards. The announcement was made by the six-member Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of RBI.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाने (RBI) म्हटले आहे की नॅशनल इलेक्ट्रॉनिक फंड ट्रान्सफर (NEFT) च्या माध्यमातून ऑनलाईन पैसे हस्तांतरण आतापासून 24×7 उपलब्ध होईल. आरबीआयच्या सहा सदस्यीय नाणे धोरण समितीने (MPC) ही घोषणा केली.

8. Uber Technologies Inc (UBER.N) has launched Uber Copter, the helicopter services, in New York. The users will soon be able to book helicopter flights to John F. Kennedy (JFK) International airport through their apps. The flights are operated by HeliFlite Shares, a licensed company.

9. Walmart unveiled its pilot project using blockchain technology among the shrimp farmers in Andhra Pradesh. The use of blockchain technology to track shrimp exports from India to an overseas retailer is first of its kind.
वॉलमार्टने आंध्र प्रदेशातील कोळंबीच्या शेतकऱ्यांमध्ये ब्लॉकचेन तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर करून आपल्या पथदर्शी प्रकल्पाचे अनावरण केले. परदेशी किरकोळ विक्रेत्याकडून कोळंबीच्या निर्यातीचा मागोवा घेण्यासाठी ब्लॉकचेन तंत्रज्ञानाचा वापर हा सर्वप्रथम आहे.

10. Kolkata-based Bandhan Bank and Ahmedabad-based Gruh Finance announced that it will be merged on 17 October 2019. The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has cleared the scheme of amalgamation for the merger.
कोलकातास्थित बंधन बँक आणि अहमदाबाद येथील ग्रुह फायनान्सने घोषित केले की त्यांचे 17 ऑक्टोबर 2019 रोजी विलीनीकरण केले जाईल. नॅशनल कंपनी लॉ ट्रिब्यूनलने NCLT) विलीनीकरणासाठी एकत्रित होण्याची योजना मंजूर केली आहे.
