1. The government revoke Article 370 and Article 35A which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir and proposed that the state be bifurcated into two union territories, Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh.
जम्मू-काश्मीरला विशेष दर्जा देणारे अनुच्छेद 370 & 35A सरकारने रद्दबातल केले आहेत आणि जम्मू-काश्मीर आणि लडाख या दोन केंद्रशासित प्रदेशांमध्ये या राज्याचे विभाजन करण्याचा प्रस्ताव ठेवला आहे.

2. The Rajasthan State Legislative Assembly passed the Rajasthan Protection from Lynching Bill, 2019.
राजस्थान राज्य विधानसभेने राजस्थान लिंचिंग संरक्षण विधेयक, 2019 मंजूर केले आहे.

3. Walmart’s Flipkart unit to introduce a free video streaming service to draw new users from small towns and cities in India.
वॉलमार्टचे फ्लिपकार्ट युनिट भारतातील छोट्या शहरे आणि शहरांमधून नवीन वापरकर्त्यांना आकर्षित करण्यासाठी एक विनामूल्य व्हिडिओ प्रवाह सेवा सुरू करणार आहे.

4. The Department of Consumer Affairs has released draft guidelines on e-commerce titled ‘e-commerce guidelines for consumer protection 2019’.
ग्राहक व्यवहार विभागाने “ई-कॉमर्स मार्गदर्शिका 2019 साठी ग्राहक संरक्षण” या ई-कॉमर्सविषयी मार्गदर्शक तत्त्वे जारी केली आहेत.

6. The Lok Sabha passed the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Bill 2019 on 5 August. The Bill aims to empower and safeguard the rights of transgenders
लोकसभेने 5 ऑगस्ट रोजी ट्रान्सजेंडर पर्सन्स (हक्कांचे संरक्षण) विधेयक 2019 मंजूर केले. ट्रान्सजेंडर्सच्या अधिकारांचे सक्षमीकरण आणि संरक्षण करणे हे या विधेयकाचे उद्दीष्ट आहे.

7. The Lok Sabha passed the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill, 2019 on 5 August 2019. The Bill aims to ban commercial surrogacy in the country. It was introduced by Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan.
5 ऑगस्ट 2019 रोजी लोकसभेने सरोगसी (नियमन) विधेयक 2019 मंजूर केले. या विधेयकात देशातील व्यावसायिक सरोगसीवर बंदी आणण्याचे उद्दीष्ट ठेवले आहे. केंद्रीय आरोग्यमंत्री हर्षवर्धन यांनी याची ओळख करून दिली.

8. Lok Sabha passed a bill the main aim is to increase the number of Supreme Court judges from the present 30 to 33 with a view to reducing pendency of cases.
लोकसभेने हे विधेयक मंजूर केले ज्याचे मुख्य उद्दीष्ट हे आहे की सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाच्या न्यायाधीशांची संख्या सध्याच्या 30 वरून 33 पर्यंत वाढविणे हे आहे.

9. In a first-of-its-kind initiative in the country, Mohali traffic police have launched 3D Smart Traffic Signal devised by the students of a Chandigarh university.
