1. Fifteen of the 20 most polluted cities in the world are in India. India’s national capital region (NCR) emerged as the most polluted region in the world in last year.
जगभरातील 20 सर्वात प्रदूषित शहरांपैकी 15 शहरे भारतातील आहेत. गेल्यावर्षी भारताचे राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र (NCR) जगातील सर्वात प्रदूषित क्षेत्र म्हणून उदयास आले.
2. Women officers to get permanent commission in all 10 branches of Indian Army. They will get permanent commission in all the ten branches where they are inducted for Short Service Commission (SSC).
भारतीय सैन्याच्या सर्व 10 शाखांमध्ये महिला अधिकाऱ्यांना कायमस्वरूपी कमिशन मिळणार आहे. त्यांना शॉर्ट सर्व्हिस कमिशन (एसएससी) मध्ये सामील असलेल्या सर्व दहा शाखांमध्ये कायम कमिशन मिळेल.
3. World Bank to provide $250 Million dollar for the National Rural Economic Transformation Project (NRETP) to boost Rural Incomes across 13 States in India.
भारतातील 13 राज्यांत ग्रामीण भागातील उत्पन्न वाढविण्यासाठी जागतिक बँकेने राष्ट्रीय ग्रामीण आर्थिक परिवर्तन प्रकल्पासाठी (NRETP) 250 दशलक्ष डॉलर्सची तरतूद केली आहे.

7. The Swedish Academy has said that two Nobel Prizes for literature will be awarded this year.The decision comes after a sex scandal causing the suspension of the award last year.
स्वीडिश अकादमीने म्हटले आहे की, यावर्षी साहित्याचे दोन नोबेल पारितोषिक देण्यात येणार आहेत. गेल्यावर्षी लैंगिक घोटाळ्यामुळे पुरस्काराचे निलंबन झाल्याने हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.
8. Richest Indian Mukesh Ambani jumped six positions to rank 13th on Forbes World’s Billionaire list.
सर्वात श्रीमंत भारतीय मुकेश अंबानी यांनी फोर्ब्सच्या जागतिक बिलियनेअर यादीत 13 व्या क्रमांकावर आले आहेत.
