1. The annual Joint Indo-Lanka maritime fleet exercise – SLINEX 2019 is scheduled to be held from 07 September 2019.
07 सप्टेंबर 2019 पासून वार्षिक संयुक्त इंडो-लंका समुद्री फ्लीट एक्सरसाइज – स्लिनेक्स 2019 आयोजित करण्यात येणार आहे.

2. With an aim to cut down the monotony of prolonged waiting periods on railway stations and to make it an enjoyable experience, particularly for children, a fun zone has been set up by the Railways at the Visakhapatnam railway station.

3. After the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A, the Mini Conclave of First Jammu and Kashmir Investor Summit-2019 is held in Leh. Despite the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh are going to be the Union Territories from 1st November onwards.

4. India has pipped the Netherlands to move into the list of top ten countries in terms of total gold reserves. According to the World Gold Council, India has gold reserves totalling 618.2 tonnes, which is marginally higher than the Netherlands’ reserves of 612.5 tonnes. International Monetary Fund (IMF) occupies the third position after the U.S. and Germany. Indian ranked 9th in individual country ranking, excluding IMF, and ranked 10th including IMF.
एकूण सोन्याच्या साठ्याच्या संदर्भात भारताने नेदरलँड्सला मागे टाकत पहिल्या दहा देशांच्या यादीत स्थान मिळवले आहे. वर्ल्ड गोल्ड कौन्सिलच्या मते, भारताकडे एकूण 618.2 टन सोन्याचे साठा आहे, जे नेदरलँड्सच्या 612.5 टन साठ्यापेक्षा किंचित जास्त आहे. आंतरराष्ट्रीय नाणेनिधी (आयएमएफ) ने अमेरिका आणि जर्मनी नंतर तिसरे स्थान मिळवले. आयएमएफ वगळता वैयक्तिक देशांच्या रँकिंगमध्ये भारतीय 9 व्या स्थानावर असून आयएमएफसह 10 व्या स्थानावर आहे.

5. On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, President Ram Nath Kovind conferred National Awards to teachers for the year 2018 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

6. Punjab National Bank’s (PNB) board has decided to give its in-principle approval for the merger with the Oriental Bank of Commerce and United Bank of India. The move is a part of the announcement of a major bank merger by the Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.
ओरिएंटल बँक ऑफ कॉमर्स आणि युनायटेड बँक ऑफ इंडियामध्ये विलीनीकरणासाठी पंजाब नॅशनल बँकेच्या (पीएनबी) मंडळाने तात्विक मान्यता देण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. अर्थमंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण यांच्या प्रमुख बँक विलीनीकरणाच्या घोषणेचा हा भाग आहे.

7. IndiGo announced its partnership with online video streaming service SonyLIV to offer passengers entertainment content at 25. The airline is expanding its footprint globally resulting in longer flights for its passengers calling for the need to provide entertainment content onboard.
इंडिगोने प्रवासी करमणूक सामग्री ऑफर करण्यासाठी ऑनलाइन व्हिडिओ स्ट्रीमिंग सोनीलिव्हबरोबर भागीदारीची घोषणा केली. एअरलाइन्स जागतिक पातळीवर आपल्या पदचिन्हांचा विस्तार करीत आहे. यामुळे प्रवास करणाऱ्या प्रवाशांना विमानात करमणुकीची सामग्री पुरविण्याची गरज आहे.

8. The Reserve Bank of India mandatory for banks to link all new floating-rate loans for housing, auto and MSMEs to an external benchmark like repo from October 1.

9. The first National Conference on Cyber Crime Investigation and Cyber Forensics was held at CBI Headquarters in New Delhi on 4-5 September.
