1. Swiggy, an online food ordering and delivery platform, has teamed with the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) to provide pre-ordered meals to train passengers, aiming to improve their travel experience. An agreement, known as the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), was formally executed on March 5, 2024, by Sanjay Kumar Jain, the Chairman and Managing Director of IRCTC, and Rohit Kapoor, the CEO of Swiggy Food Marketplace. This event took held in the presence of high-ranking representatives from both organisations.

India’s External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar, conveyed India’s intention to broaden its strategic alliance with South Korea during the 10th India-South Korea Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) in Seoul on March 6, 2024. 5. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has given instructions to card issuers, prohibiting them from entering into any agreements that restrict their ability to use the services of other card networks. This step aims to enhance customer choice and fair competition. The purpose of this regulation is to guarantee that consumers have the liberty to select among several card networks when they are issued or renew their cards.
