Educational Qualification: (A) (i) A Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Nursing from a recognised University or Institute; or completion of a regular course in Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognised University or Institute, or completion of a Post Basic Bachelor of Science in Nursing from a recognised University or Institute; and (ii) Registration as a nurse or nurse and midwife (registered Nurse or registered Nurse & registered Midwife) with the State Nursing council. OR (B) (i) Possession of a Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from a recognised Board of Council; (ii) Registration as a nurse or nurse and midwife (registered Nurse or registered Nurse & registered Midwife) with the State Nursing Council; (iii) Minimum one year of experience in a hospital with a minimum of fifty beds after obtaining the educational qualification.
