1. As part of the centenary year celebrations of Dr Vikram Sarabhai, the father of Indian space programme, ISRO institutes two categories of awards in journalism. ISRO has announced its “Vikram Sarabhai Journalism Award in Space Science, Technology and Research” to recognize and reward journalists who have actively contributed towards the field of space science, applications, and research.
भारतीय अंतराळ कार्यक्रमाचे जनक डॉ विक्रम साराभाई यांच्या जन्मशताब्दी वर्षाच्या समारंभाचा एक भाग म्हणून, इस्रो पत्रकारितेमध्ये दोन प्रकारच्या पुरस्कारांची स्थापना केली आहे. अंतराळ विज्ञान, अनुप्रयोग आणि संशोधन या क्षेत्रात सक्रियपणे योगदान देणाऱ्या पत्रकारांना ओळख आणि पुरस्कार देण्यासाठी इस्रोने आपला “अवकाश विज्ञान, तंत्रज्ञान आणि संशोधन मधील विक्रम साराभाई जर्नलिझम अवॉर्ड” जाहीर केला आहे.

2. Rajya Sabha passed the National Institute of Design (Amendment) Bill, 2019. It was introduced by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal. The Bill sought to amend the National Institute of Design Act, 2014.
राज्यसभेने नॅशनल इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ डिझाइन (दुरुस्ती) विधेयक2019 मंजूर केले. वाणिज्य व उद्योग मंत्री पीयूष गोयल यांनी ते सादर केले. नॅशनल इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ डिझाईन ॲक्ट 2014 मध्ये सुधारणा करण्याची मागणी या विधेयकात करण्यात आली.

3. According to economic think-tank NCAER’s report, India’s GDP growth is likely to be 6.2 percent during the current fiscal, down from 6.8 per cent in 2018-19.
इकॉनॉमिक थिंक टँक एनसीएईआरच्या अहवालानुसार चालू आर्थिक वर्षात भारताची जीडीपी वाढ 6.2 टक्के राहण्याची शक्यता आहे, 2018-19 मध्ये 6.8 टक्क्यांपेक्षा कमी आहे.

4. The Reserve Bank has cut the repo rate by 35 basis points to 5.40 per cent to give a fillip to the economy.

5. The Reserve Bank of India has decided to set up a Central Payment Fraud Registry to track frauds in the payment systems.
रिझर्व्ह बँकेने पेमेंट सिस्टममधील घोटाळ्याचा मागोवा घेण्यासाठी केंद्रीय पेमेंट फ्रॉड रेजिस्ट्री स्थापन करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे.

6. The Reserve Bank of India allows all categories of billers to accept prepaid recharges under the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS).
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडिया सर्व प्रकारचे बिलरांना भारत बिल पेमेंट सिस्टम (बीबीपीएस) अंतर्गत प्रीपेड रिचार्ज स्वीकारण्यास परवानगी दिली आहे.

7. India’s Reliance Industries Ltd is partnering with iconic US-based luxury jeweller Tiffany & Co to open a line of stores in the country.
