1. The International Literacy Day (ILD) is being observed every year across the world on 8 September to emphasize importance of literacy to individuals, society and communities.

2. The country’s first intranasal COVID vaccine by Bharat Biotech has recently received DCGI approval for primary immunization against the infection for people above the age of 18 years. This vaccine has been named ChAd36-SARS-CoV-S COVID-19.
भारत बायोटेकच्या देशातील पहिल्या इंट्रानासल कोविड लसीला अलीकडेच 18 वर्षांपेक्षा जास्त वयाच्या लोकांसाठी संसर्गाविरूद्ध प्राथमिक लसीकरणासाठी DCGI मंजूरी मिळाली आहे. या लसीला ChAd36-SARS-CoV-S COVID-19 असे नाव देण्यात आले आहे.

3. Recently, at a special ceremony at ‘Sheetal Niwas’, the official residence of the President in Nepal’s capital Kathmandu, Indian Army Chief General Pande was conferred with the title of Honorary General of the Nepalese Army during his ongoing visit to the Himalayan nation.

5. Moody’s Investors Service recently announced its decision to maintain India’s sovereign credit rating at a minimum investment grade of ‘Baa3’ and continue with its “stable” outlook on the country.
