1. Every year, India celebrates National Technology Day on May 11. This year, the National Technology Day is being celebrated under the theme: Theme: Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future. The Ministry of Science and Technology organises several events across the country to celebrate the day.
दरवर्षी, भारत 11 मे रोजी राष्ट्रीय तंत्रज्ञान दिन साजरा करतो. यावर्षी: थीम: विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञान एक शाश्वत भविष्यासाठी या थीम अंतर्गत राष्ट्रीय तंत्रज्ञान दिन साजरा केला जात आहे. हा दिवस साजरा करण्यासाठी विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञान मंत्रालय देशभरात अनेक कार्यक्रमांचे आयोजन करते.

2. The Commerce Ministry said the first consignment of organic millets, produced in Uttarakhand, would be exported to Denmark.
वाणिज्य मंत्रालयाने सांगितले की उत्तराखंडमध्ये उत्पादित सेंद्रिय बाजरीची पहिली खेप डेन्मार्कला निर्यात केली जाईल.

3. With India continuing to reel under the second wave of COVID-19 infections, multinational financiers pitched in with relief efforts, led by a Rs 200 crore commitment by Citibank.
भारत मध्ये कोरोनाच्या दुसर्‍या लहर प्रकोपमधून निपटण्यासाठी सिटी बँकेने 200 कोटी देण्याची घोषणा केली.

4. Investment in health, education and social protection alongside deeper regional cooperation can help countries in Asia Pacific region in achieving equitable recovery from the pandemic, Asian Development Bank (ADB) said.
सखोल प्रादेशिक सहकार्याबरोबरच आरोग्य, शिक्षण आणि सामाजिक संरक्षणामध्ये केलेली गुंतवणूक एशिया महासागरातील प्रशांत प्रदेशातील देशांना साथीच्या रोगातून योग्य प्रमाणात पुनर्प्राप्ती करण्यात मदत करू शकेल, असे एशियन डेव्हलपमेंट बँक (ADB) यांनी सांगितले.

5. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar participated in the G-7 Foreign Ministers’ meeting through video conference.

6. The NASA Spacecraft called the “Osiris-Rex” has started a two year long journey back to the earth. The spacecraft reached asteroid Bennu in 2018
“ओसिरिस-रेक्स” नावाच्या नासा अंतराळ यानानं पृथ्वीवर परत जाण्यासाठी दोन वर्षांचा लांब प्रवास सुरू केला आहे. 2018 मध्ये अंतराळ यान क्षुद्रग्रह बेन्नूवर पोहोचले.

7. The annual population of China has slowed during the decade. This has put the demographic dividend of the country at risk. Outcomes of the Census The annual population growth of China was at 0.53% in 2020 census. It was 0.57% in 2010 census.
दशकात चीनची वार्षिक लोकसंख्या मंदावली आहे. यामुळे देशातील लोकसंख्याशास्त्रीय लाभांश धोक्यात आला आहे. जनगणनेचे निकाल 2020 च्या जनगणनेनुसार चीनची वार्षिक लोकसंख्या वाढ 0.53% होती. 2010 च्या जनगणनेत ते 0.57 होते.

8. The Ministry of Earth Science recently announced that India participated in the Arctic Science Ministerial meeting. The Union Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan represented India at the meeting.
पृथ्वी विज्ञान मंत्रालयाने नुकतीच जाहीर केली की भारत आर्क्टिक सायन्स मंत्रीपदाच्या बैठकीत सहभागी झाला आहे. केंद्रीय मंत्री डॉ. हर्ष वर्धन यांनी बैठकीत भारताचे प्रतिनिधित्व केले.

9. The Environment Appraisal Committee (EAC) operating under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change recently recommended for grant of “Terms of Reference for Environmental Impact Assessment” studies.
पर्यावरण, वन आणि हवामान बदल मंत्रालयाच्या अंतर्गत काम करणाऱ्या पर्यावरण मूल्यांकन समितीने (EAC) नुकतीच “पर्यावरणीय परिणाम मूल्यांकनासाठी संदर्भ अटी” अभ्यासासाठी शिफारस केली.

10. Former Union minister and Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leader Ajit Singh passed away in Gurgaon. He was 82.
माजी केंद्रीय मंत्री आणि राष्ट्रीय लोक दलाचे (RLD) नेते अजित सिंग यांचे गुडगाव येथे निधन झाले. ते 82 वर्षांचे होते.
