1. 12 February is celebrated every year as Darwin Day to commemorate the birth anniversary of the father of evolutionary biology, Charles Darwin in 1809.
1809 मध्ये उत्क्रांतीवादी जीवशास्त्राचे जनक चार्ल्स डार्विन यांची जयंती साजरी करण्यासाठी 12 फेब्रुवारी हा दरवर्षी डार्विन दिवस  म्हणून साजरा केला जातो.

2. National Productivity Day is observed on 12 February annually to increase the productivity culture in India.
राष्ट्रीय उत्पादकता दिवस भारतातील उत्पादकता संस्कृती वाढविण्यासाठी दरवर्षी 12 फेब्रुवारी रोजी साजरा केला जातो.

4. In order to promote wooden toys, local artifacts, handicrafts Maharashtra Small Industries Development Corporation and Maharashtra State Khadi & Village Industries Board have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Flipkart.

5. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the Financial Literacy Week (FLW) from February 8-12, 2021, to propagate financial education.

6. Indian drama “Pebbles”, directed by filmmaker Vinothraj PS, has won the top honour, the Tiger Award for best film, at the 50th International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR).

7. Scientists have found the first geological evidence of an earthquake at Himebasti Village on the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

9. India will launch its first CNG tractor on February 12, 2021, which has been converted to compressed natural gas (CNG).
