1. The President of India, Shri Ram Nath Kovind, inaugurated the 13th Convention of the Central Information Commission in New Delhi.
भारताचे राष्ट्रपती श्री रामनाथ कोविंद यांनी नवी दिल्ली येथील केंद्रीय माहिती आयोगाच्या 13 व्या अधिवेशनाचे उद्घाटन केले.

2. The first India-Israel Innovation Centre (IIIC), an entrepreneurial technology hub, was launched in Bengaluru.
प्रथम भारत-इस्रायल इनोव्हेशन सेंटर (IIIC), एक उद्योजक तंत्रज्ञान केंद्र, बेंगलुरूमध्ये लॉन्च करण्यात आले आहे.

3. The Department of Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Government of India organized “World Egg Day” on October 13.

4. According to report by UN Office for Disaster Risk Reduction, India suffered a USD 79.5 billion economic loss due to climate-related disasters in the last 20 years.
आपत्ती जोखिम घटनेच्या यूएन ऑफिसच्या अहवालाच्या अनुसार, गेल्या 20 वर्षात हवामानाशी संबंधित आपत्तीमुळे भारताने 79.5 अब्ज डॉलर्सचा आर्थिक तोटा सहन केला आहे.

5.  Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat has been awarded with 2018 IACP ‘Leadership in Human and Civil Rights’ individual award.

6.  Fintech platform MobiKwik announced its entry into the wealth management business with the acquisition of Clearfunds. Clearfunds is an online wealth management platform.
फायनान्शियल टेक्नोलॉजीज प्लॅटफॉर्म मोबिक्विकने मालमत्ता व्यवस्थापन व्यवसायात प्रवेश करण्यासाठी क्लियरफंडचे अधिग्रहण करण्याची घोषणा केली. क्लियरफंड हे एक ऑनलाईन प्रॉपर्टी व्यवस्थापन प्लॅटफॉर्म आहे.

7. Amway appointed Milind Pant as its CEO. Mr.Pant joins Amway, which has a revenue of $8.6 billion.
एमवे यांनी मिलिंद पंत यांना त्याचे सीईओ म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे. श्रीमान पंत यांनी एमवेमध्ये सामील झाले, ज्याचे 8.6 अब्ज डॉलर्सचे महसूल आहे.

8. Sikkim has won the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) Future Policy Gold Award for its achievement in becoming the world’s first totally organic agriculture state.

9. Annapurna Devi, doyenne of classical Hindustani music, died at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai. She was 91.
शास्त्रीय संगीताकरिता प्रसिद्ध असलेल्या अन्नपूर्णा देवी यांचे मुंबईतील ब्रच कैंडी रुग्णालयात निधन झाले. त्या  91 वर्षांच्या होत्या.

10.  Indian film trade expert Santosh Singh Jain passed away. He was 97.
भारतीय चित्रपट व्यापार तज्ज्ञ संतोष सिंह जैन यांचे निधन झाले. ते 97 वर्षांचे होते.
