1. The Vaccine Alliance (Gavi) recently showed more support for adding rabies medicines for people to normal immunisation programmes, with a focus on post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP). The goal of this programme is to make the fight against rabies stronger around the world, especially in places where it is most common.

2. The G7 Leaders’ Summit will happen in Apulia, Italy, from June 13th to 15th. Italians will be in charge of the group in 2023. Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States are the G7 countries. The group has to deal with big problems like international unrest and big topics like climate change and the effects of technology in times of global change.

3. The world’s biggest test of self-driving cars began in Wuhan, China, which has a lot of people living in a small area. Baidu, a well-known tech company, has 500 robot cars, and they plan to soon double that number. Because there are so many cars and trains in Wuhan, it is a great place to test this technology.

4. The Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina (MMNM) plan was started on June 12, 2024, by the government of Assam, which was led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. Helping girls go to school and keeping them from getting married too young was a big step forward. This project aims to give female students more power by setting up an organised way for them to get money. The MMNM plan has been given Rs. 1,500 crore over five years by the Assam government, with Rs. 300 crore set aside for the first year.

MMNM योजनेला रु. आसाम सरकारने पाच वर्षांत 1,500 कोटी, रु. पहिल्या वर्षासाठी 300 कोटींची तरतूद.

5. In recent news from Arunachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Pema Khandu has started several important policy changes after being sworn in. With these changes, Arunachal Pradesh will become a more developed area over the next five years as part of a larger plan called “Viksit Arunachal.”

6. At Kavinadu Kanmoi, one of the largest drainage tanks in Tamil Nadu’s Pudukottai district, a big project to protect the environment has begun. The Kadamadai Area Integrated Farmers Association (KAIFA) and the Pudukottai local government run it. The main goal of this project is to fill the tank with fake islands.
