1. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis met World Bank CEO Kristalina Georgieva at Washington DC. Two projects were mooted for the World Bank’s assistance: 1) Rural transformation through sustainable livelihood in 10,000 villages and 2) A multimodal transport corridor in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
महाराष्ट्राचे मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस यांनी वॉशिंग्टन डीसीमध्ये जागतिक बँकेची सीईओ क्रिस्टलिना जॉर्जेवा यांची भेट घेतली. जागतिक बँक सहाय्य: 1) 10,000 गावांमध्ये टिकाऊ उपजीविकेतून ग्रामीण परिवर्तन आणि 2) मुंबई मेट्रोपॉलिटन रीजन मधील बहुस्तरीय परिवहन कॉरिडॉर.

3. NASA’s record-breaking astronaut, Peggy Whitson, retired on June 15 after a 22-year-long career.
नासाचे रेकॉर्ड ब्रेकिंग अंतराळवीर पेगी व्हिटसन 22 वर्षांच्या कारकीर्दीनंतर 15 जून रोजी निवृत्त झाले.

4. As both the UK government and the EU are considering restrictions on single-use plastic products, McDonald’s plans to ban plastic straws at all of its UK and Ireland restaurants by next year.
यूके सरकार आणि युरोपियन युनियन दोघेही वापरत असलेल्या प्लास्टिक उत्पादनांवरील निर्बंधांवर विचार करत आहेत, पुढील वर्षी मॅकडॉनल्डने यूके आणि आयर्लंड रेस्टॉरंट्स येथे प्लास्टिकच्या स्ट्रॉवर बंदी आणण्याची योजना आखली आहे.

6. Vijaya Bank has won the Best Performing Public Sector Bank award for the financial year 2017-2018 from the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA).

विजया बँकेने वित्तीय वर्ष 2017-2018 साठी पेंशन फंड रेग्युलेटर आणि डेव्हलपमेंट ऑथरायझेशन (पीएफआरडीए) सर्वोत्तम प्रदर्शन सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र बॅंक पुरस्कार जिंकला आहे.

8. Flipkart-owned PhonePe has partnered with Ola that will allow Person to book a cab using payment platform.
फ्लिपकार्टच्या मालकीची फोनपेने ओला बरोबर भागीदारी केली आहे ज्यामुळे व्यक्ती पैसे देयक प्लॅटफॉर्म वापरून कॅब बुक करू शकेल.

10. 80 year Old Veteran journalist and author Adiraju Venkateswara Rao passed away in Hyderabad, Telangana.
80 वर्षांचे  ज्येष्ठ पत्रकार आणि लेखक अदिराजु वेंकटेश्वर राव यांचे हैदराबाद, तेलंगाना येथे निधन झाले.
