1. NITI Aayog has released the “National Multidimensional Poverty Index: A Progress Review 2023” report, highlighting a considerable reduction in multidimensional poverty in India, indicating progress in lifting people out of poverty.
NITI आयोगाने “राष्ट्रीय बहुआयामी गरिबी निर्देशांक: एक प्रगती पुनरावलोकन 2023” अहवाल जारी केला आहे, ज्यामध्ये भारतातील बहुआयामी दारिद्र्यात लक्षणीय घट झाली आहे, लोकांना गरिबीतून बाहेर काढण्यात प्रगती दर्शवित आहे.

2. The first-ever Foreign Ministers’ meeting of the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) commenced in Bangkok, Thailand.

5. Michelin, the French-based company, has officially appointed Shantanu Deshpande as the Managing Director of Michelin India. He will be based in Pune, India.

6. According to an article published in the July 2023 bulletin of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), India has the potential to become a developed country by 2047, provided it maintains an average annual real GDP growth rate of 7.6% over the next 25 years.
