1. A special commemorative postal stamp of the National Institute of Nutrition (NIN), Hyderabad was released by Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Harsh Vardhan. The stamp has been brought out under the “Corporate My stamp” scheme of India Posts.
केंद्रीय आरोग्य व कुटुंब कल्याण मंत्री हर्ष वर्धन यांच्या हस्ते हैदराबादच्या नॅशनल इन्स्टिट्यूट ऑफ न्यूट्रिशन (एनआयएन) चे विशेष स्मारक टपाल तिकिट जाहीर केले. इंडिया टपालच्या “कॉर्पोरेट माय स्टॅम्प” योजनेंतर्गत हे टपाल तिकिट आणला गेला आहे.

2. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Gully Boy’, walked home with the best film from India award in the regional finals at the Asian Academy Creative Awards ceremony.

3. Two-time National Film Award (India) winner Pradip Kurbah won the prestigious Kim Ji-seok award at the Busan International Film Festival 2019 for his Khasi film ‘Market’.
दोन वेळाचा राष्ट्रीय चित्रपट पुरस्कार (भारत) विजेता प्रदीप कुर्बा याने खासी चित्रपटाच्या ‘मार्केट’ साठी बुसान आंतरराष्ट्रीय चित्रपट महोत्सव 2019 मध्ये प्रतिष्ठित किम जी-सीक पुरस्कार जिंकला.

4. The US Department of Defence said that the bilateral defence trade between India and the US is expected to reach $18 billion (over Rs.1.2 lakh crore) by the end of 2019.
अमेरिकेच्या संरक्षण विभागाने म्हटले आहे की, भारत आणि अमेरिकेदरम्यान द्विपक्षीय संरक्षण व्यापार 2019 अखेर १8$ अब्ज डॉलर्स (1.2 लाख कोटी रुपयांहून अधिक) होण्याची शक्यता आहे.

5. Ministry of Defence conducted the Army Commanders Conference was held on 14 October to 18 October 2019. The conference was addressed by the Union Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh.
संरक्षण मंत्रालयाने आयोजित सैन्य कमांडर्स परिषद 14 ऑक्टोबर ते 18 ऑक्टोबर 2019 रोजी आयोजित केली होती. या परिषदेला केंद्रीय संरक्षण मंत्री श्री. राजनाथ सिंह यांनी संबोधित केले.

6. Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh approved the proposal for admission of girl children in Sainik schools. The approval will be effective from academic session 2021-22 in a phased manner.
संरक्षणमंत्री श्री राजनाथ सिंह यांनी सैनिक शाळांमधील मुलींच्या प्रवेशाच्या प्रस्तावाला मान्यता दिली. 2021-22 या शैक्षणिक सत्रापासून ही मंजुरी टप्प्याटप्प्याने लागू होईल.

7. The Union Minister of Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh, inaugurated 11th Nuclear Energy Conclave in New Delhi on 18 October 2019. The conclave was organized by India Energy Forum (IEF).
केंद्रीय अणु उर्जा आणि अवकाश मंत्री डॉ. जितेंद्र सिंह यांनी 18 ऑक्टोबर 2019 रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे 11 व्या अणुऊर्जा समोराचे उद्घाटन केले. इंडिया एनर्जी फोरम (आयईएफ) च्या वतीने आयोजित या संमेलनाचे आयोजन करण्यात आले होते.

8. Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) became the first Indian company to cross the Rs.9 lakh crore of market capitalization (m-cap). It is followed by Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) with a market capitalization of Rs.7,69,483 crore as its shares were trading up 1% at Rs.2050.70.
मुकेश अंबानी यांच्या नेतृत्वाखालील रिलायन्स इंडस्ट्रीज लिमिटेड (आरआयएल) बाजार भांडवलाच्या (m-cap) 9 लाख कोटींचा आकडा पार करणारी पहिली भारतीय कंपनी ठरली. त्यापाठोपाठ टाटा कन्सल्टन्सी सर्व्हिसेस (TCS) यांचे बाजार भांडवल 7,69,483 कोटी रुपये असून त्यांचे समभाग 1%  Rs.2050.70. रुपयांवर आहेत.

9. National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) organized the 20th All India Conference of Directors of Fingerprint Bureaus in New Delhi. Union Minister of State for Home, Shri G. Kishan Reddy inaugurated the conference on 17 October 2019.
नॅशनल क्राइम रेकॉर्ड ब्युरो (एनसीआरबी) च्या वतीने नवी दिल्ली येथे फिंगरप्रिंट ब्युरोसच्या संचालकांचे 20 वे अखिल भारतीय परिषद आयोजित करण्यात आली. केंद्रीय गृह राज्यमंत्री श्री जी. किशन रेड्डी यांनी 17 ऑक्टोबर 2019 रोजी परिषदेचे उद्घाटन केले.

10. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) appointed Navnita Gautam as their Sports Massage Therapist and became the first Indian Premier League team to have a woman in the support staff.
रॉयल चॅलेंजर्स बेंगळुरूने (RCB) नवनीता गौतमला त्यांची स्पोर्ट्स मसाज थेरपिस्ट म्हणून नियुक्त केले आणि सहाय्यक कर्मचार्‍यांमध्ये महिला मिळवणारी पहिली इंडियन प्रीमियर लीग टीम बनली.
