1. Researchers at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mandi, have developed a magnetic Random Access Memory (RAM) which is faster, more energy-efficient and capable of storing more information in a smaller volume than existing data storage technologies

2. Uttar Pradesh became the first state in India to geotag its 7,368 community kitchens and community shelters across 75 districts which produce 12 lakh food packets a day.

5. The Home Ministry issued Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for the movement of stranded migrant labourers for their engagement in industrial, manufacturing, construction, farming and MNREGA works within States and Union Territories where they are currently located.

7. Centre issued an order to exempt certain activities under the consolidated revised guidelines to all Ministries/Departments of the country. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA).

8. A new study by the International Institute for Sustainable Development (IISD) and the Council on Energy, Environment, and Water (CEEW) report stated that India’s renewable energy subsidies fell 35% between 2016-17 and 2018-19.
