1. The station named after Lord Elphinstone, the Governor of Bombay Presidency from 1853 to 1860, has been rechristened as Prabhadevi in honour of a local deity of the same name and to erase a “colonial” name. This renaming was first proposed by Shiv Sena leader Diwakar Raote in 1991.
1853 ते 1860 पर्यंत, बॉम्बे प्रेसिडेन्सीचे गव्हर्नर लॉर्ड एलफिन्स्टन यांच्या नावावर असलेले स्थानकाचे नाव स्थानिक देवाच्या सन्मानार्थ ‘प्रभादेवी’ करण्यात आले आहे. 1991 मध्ये शिवसेनेचे नेते दिवाकर रावते यांनी या नावाची शिफारस केली होती.

2. India and Ghana signed two agreements in an effort to enhance the bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Raveesh Kumar announced that two MOUs on Cultural Exchange Programme and on cooperation between Bureau of Indian Standards and Ghana Standards Authority.
भारत आणि घाना यांनी दोन्ही देशांमधील द्विपक्षीय सहकार्याचे वाढ करण्याच्या प्रयत्नात दोन करार केले आहेत. परराष्ट्र व्यवहार मंत्रालय (एमईए) चे प्रवक्ते रविश कुमार यांनी जाहीर केले की सांस्कृतिक देवाणघेवाणीच्या कार्यक्रमात दोन सामंजस्य करार आणि भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो आणि घाना मानक प्राधिकरण यांच्यातील सहकार्य आहे.

3. Whatsapp Messenger decided to tackle the spread of fake news on its platform, instant messaging application and has limited the users can forward messages to only five people at a time.
व्हाट्सएप मेसेंजरने त्याच्या प्लॅटफॉर्म, झटपट मेसेजिंग अॅपवर वापरकर्ते एकाच वेळी फक्त पाच लोकांना संदेश फोरवर्ड करू शकतील, असा निर्णय बनावट बातम्या रोखण्याकरिता घेतला आहे.

4. Repco Micro Finance Ltd got his Award for its service to self-help group (SHG) linkage in Tamil Nadu for the fiscal year 2017-18. As of now, this company has disbursed loans amounting to ₹2,500 crore to over 10 lakh beneficiaries through 50,000 SHGs.
आर्थिक वर्षाच्या 2017-18 वर्षासाठी तामिळनाडूमध्ये ‘सेल्फ हेल्प ग्रुप’ (एसएचजी) लिंकेजला सेवा देण्यासाठी रिपो मायक्रो फायनान्स लिमिटेडला पुरस्कार मिळाला. आतापर्यंत, या कंपनीने 50,000 एसएचजीजद्वारे 10 लाखांहून अधिक लाभार्थ्यांना 2,500 कोटी रुपयांचे कर्ज दिले आहे.

7. The Cabinet has approved a MOU between India and Indonesia on cooperation in the field of pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical substances, biological product and cosmetics regulatory functions.
कॅबिनेटने फार्मास्युटिकल उत्पाद, फार्मास्युटिकल पदार्थ, जैविक उत्पादने आणि सौंदर्य प्रसाधने नियामक कार्याच्या क्षेत्रात सहकार्यावर भारत आणि इंडोनेशिया यांच्यातील समन्वय साधण्यास मान्यता दिली आहे.

8. Jana Small Finance Bank officially launched its commercial banking operations.

9. Union Cabinet has approved the signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among BRICS Nations on the Regional Aviation Partnership Cooperation.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमंडळाने प्रांतीय विमानचालन भागीदारी सहकार्याबाबत ब्रिक्स नेशन्समधील मेमोरॅंडम ऑफ अंडरस्टँडिंग (एमओयू) करारावर स्वाक्षरी करण्यास मान्यता दिली आहे.

10. India’s Greco Roman wrestler Sajan has won the gold medal in 77kg category in Junior Asian Wrestling Championships in New Delhi.
भारताच्या ग्रीको रोमन पहलवान साजनने नवी दिल्लीतील ज्युनिअर आशियाई कुस्ती स्पर्धेत 77 किलो वजनी गटात सुवर्णपदक पटकावले.
