1. International Mother Language Day is celebrated on February 21. The main objective of celebrating the day is to increase the overall literacy level of the world.
21 फेब्रुवारी रोजी आंतरराष्ट्रीय मातृभाषा दिन साजरा केला जातो. हा दिवस साजरा करण्यामागचा मुख्य उद्देश जगाची एकूण साक्षरता पातळी वाढवणे हा आहे.

2. I2U2 is a joint initiative of India, Israel, the USA, and the UAE. I2 stands for Israel and India. U2 stands for USA and UAE. The main objective of the initiative is security cooperation, technological hubs, food security, and other different energy fields.
I2U2 हा भारत, इस्रायल, USA आणि UAE यांचा संयुक्त उपक्रम आहे. I2 म्हणजे इस्रायल आणि भारत. U2 म्हणजे USA आणि UAE. उपक्रमाचा मुख्य उद्देश सुरक्षा सहकार्य, तंत्रज्ञान केंद्र, अन्न सुरक्षा आणि इतर विविध ऊर्जा क्षेत्रे आहेत.

3. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation releases reports on all Indian carriers on monthly basis. According to the recently released report of January 2023, air traffic has increased significantly. As compared to 2022, the growth of air traffic has increased by 95%.
नागरी विमान वाहतूक महासंचालनालय सर्व भारतीय वाहकांचे मासिक आधारावर अहवाल प्रसिद्ध करते. जानेवारी २०२३ च्या नुकत्याच प्रसिद्ध झालेल्या अहवालानुसार हवाई वाहतूक लक्षणीयरीत्या वाढली आहे. 2022 च्या तुलनेत हवाई वाहतुकीत 95% वाढ झाली आहे.

4. The Haryana Governor recently addressed the Budget session of the state. During the address, he said that the State Government is very stubborn in implementing the SYL Canal project.
हरियाणाच्या राज्यपालांनी नुकतेच राज्याच्या अर्थसंकल्पीय अधिवेशनाला संबोधित केले. संबोधनादरम्यान ते म्हणाले की, राज्य सरकार एसवायएल कालवा प्रकल्प राबविण्यासाठी खूप हट्टी आहे.

5. The International Monetary Fund recently said that India and China will contribute more than 50% of the global growth in 2023. Another 25% will be contributed by other Asian countries. This is happening because the supply chains faded during the pandemic and the service sectors boomed during the same period.

6. The Vedanta group and the Foxconn of Taiwan have come together to build the first semiconductor manufacturing unit in Dholera of Gujarat. The companies signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Gujarat Government.
वेदांत समूह आणि तैवानचा फॉक्सकॉन यांनी एकत्र येऊन गुजरातमधील धोलेरा येथे पहिले सेमीकंडक्टर उत्पादन युनिट उभारले आहे. कंपन्यांनी गुजरात सरकारसोबत सामंजस्य करार केला.

7. UPI is the mobile payment method in India. Similarly, PAYNOW is a mobile payment method in Singapore. The countries have planned to link these two mobile payment methods. The linking was done virtually inaugurated by the RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das and the MD of the Monetary Authority of Singapore Ravi Menon.

8. The Employee Provident Fund Organization recently issued new instructions on how employees should apply for pensions. Earlier the amount contributed towards the scheme was capped at Rs 15,000. Now EPFO says the employees can contribute more than this. That is, the capping has been removed and there is no limit to the contribution.
कर्मचारी भविष्य निर्वाह निधी संघटनेने अलीकडेच कर्मचार्‍यांनी पेन्शनसाठी अर्ज कसा करावा याविषयी नवीन सूचना जारी केल्या आहेत. यापूर्वी योजनेसाठी योगदान दिलेली रक्कम 15,000 रुपये इतकी मर्यादित होती. आता EPFO म्हणते की कर्मचारी यापेक्षा जास्त योगदान देऊ शकतात. म्हणजेच, कॅपिंग काढले गेले आहे आणि योगदानाची मर्यादा नाही.

9. The Cross Dependency Initiative is a business consultant that specializes in climate risk. It released a report on “Gross Domestic Climate Risk”. According to the report, the top 50 provinces facing climate risks are China, the US, and India.

10.  Recently, Union Finance Minister made it clear that the Centre will not consider demands for “special category status” for any state as the 14th Finance commission has clearly said no special status can be given.
