| 1. The Geological Survey of India will host the 65th meeting of the Central Geological Programming Board on January 21 in New Delhi. This meeting is very important for setting India’s geoscience and mineral exploration agenda. The Ministry of Mines is hosting the meeting, which will bring together people from central ministries, state governments, industry, academia, and mining groups to make sure that exploration plans are in line with national development goals. भारतीय भूवैज्ञानिक सर्वेक्षण (जीएसआय) २१ जानेवारी रोजी नवी दिल्ली येथे केंद्रीय भूवैज्ञानिक नियोजन मंडळाच्या ६५व्या बैठकीचे आयोजन करणार आहे. भारताचा भूविज्ञान आणि खनिज शोध कार्यक्रम निश्चित करण्यासाठी ही बैठक अत्यंत महत्त्वाची आहे. खाण मंत्रालय या बैठकीचे आयोजन करत आहे, ज्यामध्ये केंद्रीय मंत्रालये, राज्य सरकारे, उद्योग, शिक्षण क्षेत्र आणि खाण गट यांच्या प्रतिनिधींना एकत्र आणले जाईल, जेणेकरून शोध योजना राष्ट्रीय विकासाच्या उद्दिष्टांशी सुसंगत असतील याची खात्री करता येईल. |
| 2. The Ministry of Steel is putting on Bharat Steel 2026, an international conference and exhibition that will take place in New Delhi at Bharat Mandapam on April 16 and 17. | 5. China’s Fengyun-3D weather satellite has found that iceberg A23a, which used to be the biggest iceberg in the world by surface area, is now breaking up.
