1. Researchers have been examining the Thwaites Glacier in Antarctica, which is sometimes referred to as the “Doomsday Glacier” due to its rapid melting and disastrous consequences for global sea levels. According to recent studies, the rate of ice loss has increased significantly faster than previously believed. This is primarily due to the glacier being attacked from below by warming ocean currents.

The sum of these ratings determines the overall rank of each city. The latest research claims that Delhi is the finest city in India and that New York is the best city in the globe.

3. On a momentous occasion to commemorate the inauguration of “Project UDBHAV,” other senior military officials, including the Honourable Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh, were in attendance. In August 2023, an intriguing occurrence transpiring orbiting the black hole X-ray binary system known as “Swift J1727.8-1613” was detected by a team of Indian astronomers utilising India’s AstroSat satellite. Initially, this system was observed by the Swift telescope of NASA. From September 2 to September 14, 2023, observations conducted by AstroSat, the inaugural dedicated multi-wavelength space observatory in India, yielded an unprecedented discovery in the field of astrophysics. Collaboration among scientists affiliated with the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, ISRO’s UR Rao Satellite Centre, IIT Guwahati, and the University of Mumbai resulted in these findings.
