1. Central Excise Day of India is widely known each year on 24 February. The day is being celebrated to honor the service of the Central Board of Excise and Custom (CBEC) to the country.
भारताचा केंद्रीय उत्पादन शुल्क दिवस दरवर्षी 24 फेब्रुवारी रोजी साजरा केला जातो. सेंट्रल बोर्ड ऑफ एक्साइज अँड कस्टम (CBEC) च्या देशाच्या सेवेचा गौरव करण्यासाठी हा दिवस साजरा केला जात आहे.

2. Jammu & Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has approved a foreign direct investment (FDI) policy for the union territory with a foreign stake of a minimum of 51 percent.

3. A joint team of scientists from IIT Delhi and Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), successfully demonstrated Quantum Key Distribution Link, for the first time in India.

4. On February 23, 2022, the union minister for Ports, Shipping & Waterways and AYUSH, Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated “Nikarshan Sadan Dredging Museum”.

5. Sanjay Malhotra, Secretary, Ministry of Finance’s Department of Financial Services (DFS), has been appointed to the Reserve Bank of India’s Central Board of Directors (RBI).

9. India’s Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas, that has been indigenously designed, developed and manufacture, is set to take part in the famed ‘Cobra Warrior’ exercises.
