1. Union Minister of Human Resource Development, Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’, launched an initiative ‘YUKTI 2.0’ to help systematically assimilate technologies having commercial potential and information related to incubated startups in our higher education institutions.
केंद्रीय मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री श्री रमेश पोखरियाल ‘निशंक’ यांनी उच्च शिक्षण संस्थांमध्ये व्यावसायिक क्षमता आणि इनक्युबेटेड स्टार्टअपशी संबंधित माहिती तंत्रज्ञानाची पद्धतशीरपणे मदत करण्यासाठी ‘YUKTI 2.0’ हा उपक्रम लॉंच केला.

2. India pledged USD 10 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA).
नजीक पूर्वेकडील पॅलेस्टाईन शरणार्थींसाठी (UNRWA) संयुक्त राष्ट्राच्या मदत व बांधकाम संस्थेला 10 दशलक्ष डॉलर्स देण्याचे भारताने वचन दिले.

3. According to the latest report by the economic wing of State Bank of India (SBI), COVID-19 pandemic is likely to bring down India’s per capita income (PCI) by 5.4 per cent in the financial year 2020-21 (FY21).
भारतीय स्टेट बँक (SBI) च्या आर्थिक शाखेच्या ताज्या अहवालानुसार, कोविड-19 च्या साथीच्या आर्थिक वर्ष 2020-21 (FY21) मध्ये भारताचे दरडोई उत्पन्न (PCI) 5.4 टक्क्यांनी घटण्याची शक्यता आहे.

4. “Information about Country of Origin” has been mandated for the sellers by the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), a Special Purpose Vehicle under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

5. Moody’s Investors Service projected the Indian economy to shrink 3.1 per cent in 2020. It also said that the clashes with China on the border also suggest rising geopolitical risks in the Asian region.
सन 2020 मध्ये मूडीज इन्व्हेस्टर्स सर्व्हिसने भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था 3.1 टक्क्यांनी कमी होण्याचा अंदाज वर्तविला होता. सीमेवर चीनबरोबर झालेल्या चकमकीमुळे आशियाई प्रदेशातील भौगोलिक राजनैतिक जोखीम देखील सूचित होते.

6. India has retained and consolidated its position as the third-largest economy after China and the US in terms of purchasing power parity (PPP) for 2017.

10. Former MP & veteran journalist Vishwa Bandhu Gupta passes away. He was 93.
