1. The Maldives wants to make the Maldivian Rufiyaa (MVR) stronger, so it has said it will start accepting RuPay, an Indian payment service. However, there have been recent political issues between India and the Maldives because President Mohamed Muizzu backed China. This is a step towards working together financially.

2. Scientists from the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) and Columbia University in the US have made a lot of progress in nanopatterning. 3. Australia’s first person to get the H5N1 bird flu was a child who came back from India in March. The child was really sick, but they are now fully better. According to Victoria’s top health officer, there have been no more cases linked to this event. People don’t usually get this strain from one person to another.

4. China has started to use a new large language model (LLM) that is based on President Xi Jinping’s political ideas. The full name of it is “Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.” There are clear steps in this plan on how to follow China’s economic, social, and political rules. There is a Cyberspace Administration of China group called the China Cyberspace Research Institute that put out this LLM. The main goal is to make an AI system that is safe and reliable by using data from China that has been approved by the government.

5. According to the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), the Central Government will get a record amount of Rs 2.11 lakh crore as an extra payment for the accounting year 2023–24. Beyond what was planned in the budget and what the market thought would happen, this big shift goes into action. Basically, it changes how the RBI pays the national fund.

6. Universities and colleges in Canada recently changed the standards for getting in. A big change is that you no longer need to have gone to school for 16 years to take college classes. This is a great move for Indian kids who want to go to college.
