1. The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has reached a significant achievement by successfully bringing back the PSLV Orbital Experimental Module-3 (POEM-3) into the Earth’s atmosphere without leaving any trash in orbit.
The PSLV-C58/XPoSat mission, conducted on January 1, 2024, showcased ISRO’s dedication to responsible space activities and the reduction of space debris.
भारतीय अंतराळ संशोधन संस्था (ISRO) ने PSLV ऑर्बिटल एक्सपेरिमेंटल मॉड्यूल-3 (POEM-3) पृथ्वीच्या वातावरणात कक्षेत कोणताही कचरा न सोडता यशस्वीरित्या परत आणून एक महत्त्वपूर्ण कामगिरी केली आहे.
1 जानेवारी 2024 रोजी आयोजित करण्यात आलेल्या PSLV-C58/XPoSat मोहिमेने ISRO चे जबाबदार अंतराळ उपक्रम आणि अंतराळातील ढिगारा कमी करण्यासाठीचे समर्पण दाखवले.

2. The leading dairy product brand in India, Amul, has announced the arrival of four fresh milk varieties in the US market. Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), the parent firm of Amul, would be exporting fresh milk outside of India for the first time with this.

3. The first inquiry under the new Digital Markets Act (DMA) digital law was announced by the European Union (EU) and included Apple, Alphabet, and Meta. The goal of the investigations is to find out if these internet behemoths have broken any laws related to the Digital Market Authority (DMA), which aims to control the actions of big tech corporations and encourage fair competition in the market.

4. In its most recent board meeting, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) adopted eight principle-based rules, one of which was the much-awaited Bima Sugam marketplace. The insurance business is covered by the legislative reforms in a number of areas, including corporate governance, motor Third-Party (TP) insurance, rural and social sector commitments, and international reinsurers operating in India.

5. The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has officially designated the landing location of Chandrayaan-3’s Vikram lander on the Moon as ‘Station Shiv Shakti’. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on August 26, 2023, that the landing location will be called ‘Shiva Shakti’. This choice is in accordance with his declaration.
इंटरनॅशनल ॲस्ट्रॉनॉमिकल युनियन (IAU) ने अधिकृतपणे चंद्रयान-3 च्या विक्रम लँडरचे चंद्रावरील लँडिंग स्थान ‘स्टेशन शिवशक्ती’ म्हणून नियुक्त केले आहे. पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी 26 ऑगस्ट 2023 रोजी सांगितले की, लँडिंगचे ठिकाण ‘शिवशक्ती’ असे म्हटले जाईल. ही निवड त्यांच्या घोषणेनुसार आहे.

6. The Election Commission of India (ECI) has implemented several measures to guarantee inclusive voting for all individuals, particularly emphasising the needs of older voters and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs). The slogan of the ECI, “no voter is left behind,” emphasises its dedication to ensuring that all individuals have the opportunity to participate in elections in a fair and accessible manner.
भारतीय निवडणूक आयोगाने (ECI) सर्व व्यक्तींसाठी सर्वसमावेशक मतदानाची हमी देण्यासाठी अनेक उपाययोजना अंमलात आणल्या आहेत, विशेषत: वृद्ध मतदार आणि अपंग व्यक्तींच्या (PwDs) गरजांवर भर दिला आहे.
