1. The two-day National Conference of Women Legislators has been inaugurated on 26th May 2022 by President Ram Nath Kovind in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
केरळमधील तिरुवनंतपुरम येथे राष्ट्रपती राम नाथ कोविंद यांच्या हस्ते 26 मे 2022 रोजी महिला आमदारांच्या दोन दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय परिषदेचे उद्घाटन करण्यात आले.

2. According to the 2021 Dam Removal Progress report, around 239 dams were removed from rivers across 17 European countries. This is a 137% increase from the previous year.
2021 च्या धरण काढण्याच्या प्रगती अहवालानुसार, 17 युरोपीय देशांमधील नद्यांमधून सुमारे 239 धरणे काढण्यात आली. मागील वर्षाच्या तुलनेत ही 137% वाढ आहे.

3. The World Economic Forum (WEF) and the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) announced a new initiative on 24th May 2022 to enhance flows of digital foreign direct investments (FDI) on a global scale.
जागतिक आर्थिक मंच (WEF) आणि डिजिटल कोऑपरेशन ऑर्गनायझेशन (DCO) ने 24 मे 2022 रोजी जागतिक स्तरावर डिजिटल परदेशी थेट गुंतवणुकीचा (FDI) प्रवाह वाढवण्यासाठी एक नवीन उपक्रम जाहीर केला.

5. The WHO has re-appointed its Director-General (DG) to be Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus for the second term.

6. In the last six weeks, around eight dust storms hit Iraq. NASA’s satellites captured the images of skies turning orange. These dust storms reduce visibility, increase the risk of accidents, give rise to respiratory problems, and severely disrupt lives.
गेल्या सहा आठवड्यांत इराकमध्ये सुमारे आठ धुळीच्या वादळांचा तडाखा बसला आहे. नासाच्या उपग्रहांनी केशरी होत असलेल्या आकाशाची छायाचित्रे घेतली. या धुळीच्या वादळांमुळे दृश्यमानता कमी होते, अपघाताचा धोका वाढतो, श्वसनाच्या समस्या निर्माण होतात आणि जनजीवन विस्कळीत होते.

7. PARAM PORUL, a state-of-the-art Supercomputer was inaugurated at NIT Tiruchirappalli on the 25th of May 2022 in a joint initiative by the Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY).
विज्ञान आणि तंत्रज्ञान विभाग (DST) आणि इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स आणि माहिती तंत्रज्ञान मंत्रालय (MeitY) यांच्या संयुक्त पुढाकाराने PARAM PORUL या अत्याधुनिक सुपर कॉम्प्युटरचे 25 मे 2022 रोजी NIT तिरुचिरापल्ली येथे उद्घाटन करण्यात आले.

8. India expressed willingness to join Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF), a new economic initiative led by the USA. USA clarified that the IPEF is not a free trade agreement (FTA).
भारताने इंडो-पॅसिफिक इकॉनॉमिक फ्रेमवर्क फॉर प्रोस्पॅरिटी (IPEF) मध्ये सामील होण्याची इच्छा व्यक्त केली, यूएसएच्या नेतृत्वाखालील नवीन आर्थिक उपक्रम. USA ने स्पष्ट केले की IPEF हा मुक्त व्यापार करार (FTA) नाही.

9. The third edition of the Bongosagar Naval exercise commenced at Port Mongla, Bangladesh on the 24th of May 2022 between the navies of India and Bangladesh.
भारत आणि बांग्लादेशच्या नौदलांमध्ये 24 मे 2022 रोजी बांगलादेशातील पोर्ट मोंगला येथे बोंगोसागर नौदल सरावाच्या तिसऱ्या आवृत्तीला सुरुवात झाली.

10.  Vedanta Aluminium has recently entered a long-term contract with NHAI to construct greener roads with fly-ash in Odisha.
