2. Nation pays homage to the great revolutionary, Shaheed Udham Singh on his 120th birth anniversary on 26 December 2019.

3. The government of India approved the release of Rs 8,655 crore as fresh capital to three public sector banks. The bank includes Allahabad Bank, Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) and UCO Bank.
भारत सरकारने तीन सार्वजनिक बँकांना 8,655 कोटी रुपये नवीन भांडवल म्हणून देण्यास मान्यता दिली. बँकेत अलाहाबाद बँक, इंडियन ओव्हरसीज बँक (IOB) आणि यूको बँक समाविष्ट आहे.

4. Airtel Payments Bank announced its customers will now be able to use the National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) any time of the day in-line with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines.
एअरटेल पेमेंट्स बँकेने जाहीर केले की आता ग्राहक रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडियाच्या (RBI) मार्गदर्शक सूचनांच्या अनुषंगाने दिवसातील कोणत्याही वेळी राष्ट्रीय इलेक्ट्रॉनिक फंड ट्रान्सफर (NEFT) वापरण्यास सक्षम असतील.

5. State-run ONGC received environment clearance (EC) for carrying out onshore exploration, development and production of oil and gas in 100 locations in the non-forest area of Assam, that would entail an investment of Rs 3,500 crore, according to official documents.
सरकारी कागदपत्रांनुसार, ओएसजीसीला आसामच्या वन नसलेले क्षेत्रात 100 ठिकाणी जहाजांच्या शोध, विकास आणि तेल व गॅसचे उत्पादन करण्यासाठी पर्यावरण मंजूरी (EC) प्राप्त झाली आहे. यात सरकारी कागदपत्रांनुसार 3500 कोटी रुपयांची गुंतवणूक होईल.

9. The Union Cabinet approved funds to the tune of over Rs 8,500 crore for updating the National Population Register.

10. The Cabinet approved restructuring of the Railway Board by downsizing its strength from eight to five including the chairperson, and merging its different cadres into a single Railway Management System.
रेल्वे मंडळाच्या पुनर्रचनेस मंत्रिमंडळाने सभापतीपदासह आठ ते पाच वरुन कमी आकार देऊन आणि वेगवेगळ्या केडरला एकाच रेल्वे व्यवस्थापन प्रणालीत विलीन करून मंजुरी दिली.
