1. On March 25, 2023, the Indian Army’s Armoured Regiments were awarded the prestigious President’s Standard at an event held at the Suratgarh military station in Rajasthan’s Sriganganagar district. The presentation was made by Army chief General Manoj Pande, who commended the four regiments for their exemplary services.

2. The Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA) has recently launched the Vedic Heritage Portal, a digital repository of vedic knowledge and traditions from across the country. This portal is the result of a seven-year effort and an estimated cost of Rs 5 crore.

3. A UK-based startup has claimed to have developed a Biotransformation Technology that could alter the state of plastics and make them biodegradable.

4. Union Minister for Environment, Forest and Climate Change inaugurated the Aravali Green Wall Project on the occasion of International day of Forests and unveiled the National Action Plan to Combat Desertification and Land Degradation Through Forestry Interventions.

5. The Indian government stated that the export of biofuels from special economic zones (SEZs) and export oriented units (EOUs) will be permitted without any restrictions, if the biofuel is produced by using imported feed stock.
