1. World Rabies Day is celebrated annually on 28 September. The day is observed to raise awareness about rabies prevention and to highlight progress in defeating this horrifying disease.
जागतिक रेबीज दिन दरवर्षी 28 सप्टेंबर रोजी साजरा केला जातो. हा दिवस रेबीज प्रतिबंधाबद्दल जागरूकता वाढवण्यासाठी आणि या भयानक रोगाचा पराभव करण्याच्या प्रगतीवर प्रकाश टाकण्यासाठी साजरा केला जातो.

2. India has advanced four places to 44th position in terms of digital competitiveness in the world. The country has made improvements in terms of knowledge and future readiness to adopt and explore digital technologies.

3. Digital services and consulting major Infosys has won the United Nations Global Climate Action Award in ‘carbon neutral now’ category.

4. HDFC Bank topped the WPP-Kantar BrandZ Top 75 Most Valuable Indian Brands ranking for the sixth time in a row. BFSI brands have dominated the top 10 ranking list this year.
एचडीएफसी बँकेने डब्ल्यूपीपी-कांतार ब्रँडझ टॉप 75 सर्वात मूल्यवान भारतीय ब्रँड सलग सहाव्या वेळी रँकिंगमध्ये अव्वल स्थान गाठले. बीएफएसआय ब्रॅण्ड्सने यावर्षी पहिल्या दहा क्रमांकाच्या यादीत वर्चस्व गाजवले आहे.

5. Joint Military Exercise KAZIND-2019 between India and Kazakhstan will be conducted at Pithoragarh from 02 to 15 October 2019.

6. The ongoing tension between India and Pakistan following the scrapping of special status for Jammu & Kashmir, Islamabad now stopped the postal mail exchange between the two countries. The people in Punjab on the Indian side have stopped receiving regular mails such as magazines, publications, and even letters which they used to get regularly earlier from Pakistan via post.

7. Indian Railways plans of privatization of its routes in a bid to increase its revenue may include 50 origin-destination routes. 8. Facebook is planning to invest in technology start-ups. The minority investment in a company called Meesho, its first investment globally. The second edition of Huddle Kerala 2019 one of Asia’s largest congregations on start-up ecosystem organized by Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM), Ajit Mohan, vice president and managing director, India Facebook announced the first minority investment that it has done anywhere in the world in a company called Meesho.

10. The Indian Air Force (IAF) appointed Air Marshal B Suresh as Western Air Commander of the Force in New Delhi.
