1. The National Small Industries Corporation Limited, NSIC signed an MoU with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises for the year 2019-20.
नॅशनल स्मॉल इंडस्ट्रीज कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड, एनएसआयसीने सन 2019 -20 साठी सूक्ष्म, लघु आणि मध्यम उद्योग मंत्रालयासह एक सामंजस्य करार केला आहे.

2. The National Green Tribunal, NGT, has directed the government to ban water purifiers where total dissolved solids (TDS) in water are below 500 mg per liter.

3. Scott Morrison has been sworn in as Australia’s Prime Minister, 11 days after retaining the position in the country’s general election.

5. To facilitate high-value fund transfers, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced an extension of timings for customer transactions through Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) by one and half hours from 4:30 PM to 06 PM.

7. Telangana released a draft blockchain policy to set up country’s first ‘Blockchain District’ in Hyderabad.

8. SpiceJet became fourth Indian airline to have a 100 aircraft in its fleet. Budget airline SpiceJet has added a new Boeing 737 aircraft to its fleet, taking its total strength to 100 aircraft.
स्पाइसजेट आपल्या फ्लीटमध्ये 100 विमान असणारी चौथी भारतीय विमान कंपनी बनली. बजेट एअरलाईन्स स्पाइसजेटने आपल्या फ्लीटमध्ये एक नवीन बोईंग 737 विमान जोडले आहे, ज्याची एकूण क्षमता 100 विमानांवर आहे.

9. Sri Lanka, Japan, and India signed an agreement to jointly develop the East Container Terminal at the Colombo Port on 28th May. The joint initiative is estimated to cost between $500 million and $700 million.
श्रीलंका, जपान आणि भारत यांनी 28 मे रोजी कोलंबो बंदरात ईस्ट कंटेनर टर्मिनल संयुक्तपणे विकसित करण्याचा करार केला. या संयुक्त उपक्रमाचा अंदाज $ 500 दशलक्ष आणि 700 दशलक्ष डॉलर्स एवढा आहे.

10. Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mamata Banerjee appointed Alapan Bandyopadhyay, an IAS officer of the 1987 batch, as the new Home Secretary for West Bengal.
