1. State-run Gas (India) Limited (GAIL) placed orders for another 400-km natural gas pipeline project under ambitious Pradhan Mantri Urja Ganga (PMUG).
सार्वजनिक क्षेत्रातील गॅस (इंडिया) लिमिटेडने (गेल) महत्त्वाकांक्षी प्रधानमंत्री उर्जा गंगा (पीएमयूजी) अंतर्गत आणखी 400 किलोमीटरच्या नैसर्गिक गॅस पाईपलाईन प्रकल्पाची मागणी केली.

2. The three-day long 78th session of the Indian History Congress begun in Kolkata, West Bengal. The Indian History Congress had six sections this time – Ancient India, Medieval India, Modern India, Countries Other than India, Archaeology and Contemporary India.
कोलकाता, पश्चिम बंगालमध्ये भारतीय इतिहास कॉंग्रेसच्या तीन दिवसांच्या 78 व्या सत्राची सुरुवात झाली. भारतीय इतिहास कॉंग्रेसची या वेळी सहा शाखा होती- प्राचीन भारत, मध्ययुगीन भारत, आधुनिक भारत, भारताबाहेरील देश, पुरातत्व आणि समकालीन भारत.

3. US buyout giant KKR & Company become the first foreign investor to fully own an asset reconstruction company (ARC) in India as it received approval from the Reserve Bank of India.
भारतीय रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडिया कडून मंजुरी मिळाल्याबद्दल अमेरिकामधील बायबॅक राऊंड केकेआर & कंपनी भारतातील मालमत्ता पुनर्रचना कंपनी (एआरसी) पूर्णपणे मालकीचे असणारे पहिले विदेशी गुंतवणूकदार झाले.

4. China didn’t stop to make the first solar road of the world despite many-sided the concept as impractically. The project will serve as a clean energy testbed to evaluate new technologies, with an overarching goal to reduce the amount of land needed for solar farms and transmission wires.
अव्यवच्छेने म्हणून संकल्पना असंख्य-बाजूंनी असले तरीसुद्धा चीनने जगाचा पहिला सौर रस्ते बनविणे थांबविले नाही. सौरऊर्जेवर आणि ट्रांसमिशन वायर्ससाठी लागणाऱ्या जमिनीची किंमत कमी करण्याच्या उद्देशाने, नवीन तंत्रज्ञानाचे मूल्यमापन करण्यासाठी हा प्रकल्प स्वच्छ ऊर्जेची तपासणी करेल.

5. The Lok Sabha passed the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (Amendment) Bill, 2017, which disqualifies wilful defaulters and existing promoters from bidding for stressed assets of companies undergoing insolvency proceedings.
लोकसभेने दिवाळखोरी व दिवाळखोरीची संहिते (संशोधन) विधेयक 2017 मंजूर केला, ज्याद्वारे दिवाळखोरीची कार्यवाही सुरू असलेल्या गहाळखोरांना आणि सध्याच्या प्रवर्तकांना निविदा दिल्या जात असलेल्या कंपन्यांची बोली लावण्यास अपात्र ठरवतील.
