1. A total of one crore 83 lakh Sukanya Samriddhi Accounts have been opened across the country in the name of girl-child with deposits amounting to over 58 thousand 222 crore rupees.

10. Former Union Minister and senior AIADMK leader Kadambur M. R. Janardhanan has passed away following age-related ailments. He was 91.
माजी केंद्रीय मंत्री आणि एआयएडीएमकेचे ज्येष्ठ नेते कदंबूर एम. आर. जनार्दनन यांचे वयानुसार आजारपणानंतर निधन झाले आहे. ते 91 वर्षांचे होते.
