1. The Financial Stability and Development Council, FSDC, held a meeting in New Delhi which was presided over by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley.
आर्थिक स्थिरता आणि विकास परिषद, एफएसडीसीने नवी दिल्ली येथे अर्थमंत्री अरुण जेटली अध्यक्षतेखाली एक बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली होती.

2. New ATM cash withdrawal rules for SBI account holders will come into effect from October 31. The country’s largest bank will reduce the daily cash withdrawal limit for Classic and Maestro debit cards to Rs 20,000 per day, from Rs 40,000.
एसबीआय खातेधारकांसाठी नवीन एटीएम रोख पैसे काढण्याचे नियम 31 ऑक्टोबरपासून लागू होतील. देशातील सर्वात मोठ्या बँकने क्लासिक आणि मेस्ट्रो डेबिट कार्डाची  दररोजची मर्यादा 40,000 रुपये रोख रक्कम वरून  20,000 रुपयांपर्यंत कमी करण्यात आली आहे.

3. Nobel Prize Winner Malala Yousafzai will be honored by Harvard University for her work promoting girls’ education. Harvard’s Kennedy School said Yousafzai will be conferred with the 2018 Gleitsman Award at a ceremony on 6th December.
नोबेल पारितोषिक विजेता मलाला युसुफझाई यांना मुलींच्या शिक्षणास प्रोत्साहन देण्याच्या त्यांच्या या कार्यकरिता हॉर्वर्ड विद्यापीठाने पुरस्काराने गौरविण्याच ठरविले आहे. हार्वर्डच्या केनेडी स्कूलने म्हटले आहे की, 6 डिसेंबरला होणाऱ्या  कार्यक्रमात युसूफझाई यांना 2018 मधील ग्लीट्समन पुरस्काराने गौरवण्यात येणार आहे.

4. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) had approved the re-appointment of Aditya Puri as managing director of the bank for another two years.
रिझर्व्ह बँक ऑफ इंडिया (आरबीआय) यांनी आदित्य पुरी यांची दोन वर्षांसाठी मॅनेजिंग डायरेक्टर ऑफ बँक म्हणून पुन्हा नियुक्ती करण्यास मान्यता दिली आहे.

5. Railway Board Chairman, Ashwani Lohani inaugurated the India’s first engine-less semi-high speed train – “Train 18” made by the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) at the cost of 100 crore.
रेल्वे बोर्डाचे अध्यक्ष अश्विनी लोहानी यांनी 100 कोटी रुपयांच्या इंटीग्रल कोच फॅक्टरी (आयसीएफ) द्वारा तयार केलेल्या “ट्रेन 18″ च्या पहिल्या इंजिन-कम अर्ध-हाय स्पीड ट्रेनचे उद्घाटन केले.

6. National Securities Depository Ltd (NSDL) Payments Bank has commenced operations as a payments bank.
नॅशनल सिक्युरिटीज डिपॉझिटरी लिमिटेड (एनएसडीएल) पेमेंट्स बँकने पेमेंट बँक म्हणून ऑपरेशन्सची सुरुवात केली आहे.

7. Vigilance Awareness Week is being observed from 29th October to 3rd November to achieve corruption free society.
भ्रष्टाचारमुक्त समाज करण्याकरिता 29 ऑक्टोबर ते 03 नोव्हेंबर या कालावधीत दक्षता जागृती सप्ताह साजरा केला जात आहे.

8. World Savings Day or World Thrift day is observed as October 31.
जागतिक बचत दिवस किंवा जागतिक थ्रिफ्ट दिवस 31 ऑक्टोबरला साजरा केला जातो.

9. India and Pakistan were declared as the joint winners of the Asian Champions Trophy at Muscat in Oman.
भारत आणि पाकिस्तान यांना ओमानमधील मस्कॅट येथे आशियाई चॅम्पियन्स ट्रॉफीचे संयुक्त विजेते घोषित करण्यात आले.

10. The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, addressed the India-Italy Technology Summit at New Delhi. The Prime Minister of Italy, Mr. Giuseppe Conte, was also present on the occasion.
पंतप्रधान नरेंद्र मोदी यांनी नवी दिल्ली येथे भारत-इटली तंत्रज्ञान शिखर सम्मेलन संबोधित केले. यावेळी इटलीचे पंतप्रधान श्री.ज्युसेपे कॉन्टे उपस्थित होते.
