4. The Indian Air Force (IAF) and the Indian Army’s Kharga Corps just finished a three-day combat drill in Punjab called Gagan Strike-II. The Corps is part of the Army’s Western Command. The main purpose of Gagan Strike-II was to improve the way the Indian Army’s mechanised units did things and to make sure that attack helicopters could be used in developed areas. The drill was mostly about getting Apache and ALH-WSI helicopters, unarmed aerial vehicles, and special troops from the Army to work together. This group of forces took part in different battle simulations to show how well ground actions and air support can work together.

3. Beginning in August 2024, the government-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will implement 4G services across the nation using exclusively indigenous technology. 6. In order to increase employment contentment, the Border Security Force (BSF) has implemented new directives from the Directorate General (DG) for non-gazetted officers.
As the new guidelines are implemented, there is an increase in the number of early retirements. According to data from the Ministry of Home Affairs, more than 46,000 personnel from the six Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) retired early over the past five years (2019-2023), with the BSF contributing more than 21,000 of those.

6. The most profound blue hole ever identified was identified by scientists as the Taam Ja’ Blue Hole (TJBH), which is situated in Chetumal Bay, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. The depth of the TJBH has been determined to be a minimum of 1,380 feet (420 metres) below sea level, surpassing by 390 feet (119 metres) the previous record holder, the Sansha Yongle Blue Hole (also known as the Dragon Hole) in the South China Sea. The fact that scientists have yet to penetrate to the bottom of the TJBH indicates that it may be even deeper.

Political parties have accused the public broadcaster of deliberately choosing a hue that is strongly linked to the ruling political party, particularly because this change was done during the ongoing election process. DD stated that the alteration was solely related to the cosmetic appearance.
