1. In March 2024, India’s goods exports totaled USD 41.68 billion, down 0.67% from the previous year’s total but still higher than the FY 2022–2023 total. Conversely, within the same time frame, imports decreased by 6% to USD 57.3 billion. For the first time in eleven months, the goods trade deficit shrank to USD 15.6 billion.

7. Astronomers have discovered the largest stellar-mass black hole yet observed in our galaxy, the Milky Way. Designated as Gaia BH3, this celestial object is a black hole situated at a distance of around 2,000 light-years from Earth in the Aquila constellation. It has the distinction of being the second-nearest black hole to our planet that is currently known. The identification was achieved by the examination of data gathered from the Gaia mission conducted by the European Space Agency. This data revealed the detection of a star exhibiting a noticeable oscillation in close proximity to the black hole, thus proving the existence of the black hole.
