| 1. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced measures to improve the security of online payments. This new measure is focused on cross-border “Card Not Present” (CNP) transactions. The adoption of Additional Factor of Authentication (AFA) is intended to ensure that foreign digital transactions using Indian-issued cards are as safe as domestic ones.
